Just so you know, I'd need more than a mid-level prospect and Bouma to move Ellis. Ellis is on a terrific contract for the next couple years, and has terrific offensive and defensive capabilities. Great penalty killer, and can quarterback a power play. He's a true top pairing defenseman, probably a #1. Given the incredibly team-friendly contract he's on, he'll cost a pretty penny.

I’m not sure if I could do draft picks here, since you don’t have a 2018 1st. Is there any chance Debrincat or Schmaltz gets involved here?

I won't put Debrincat or Schmaltz in this deal mostly because of Ellis's injury and that he may be a little rusty coming back. Who are you interested in on my roster besides those guys in a deal for Ellis?
