calgary is a contender. which for whatever reason people don't really pay attention to. Getting rid of frolik, bennet, for kessel is not a good move for calgary because frolik and bennet combined are better than kessel, other problem is even if this offseason calgary wanted to shed cap, this wouldn't help them at all, on top of that they would need to sign more people to fill the roster spots open.

Pittsburgh wouldn’t do this either. Why trade a 70 point winger for a massive downgrade in frolik, + sam Bennett who may never pan out and a B defence prospect
