It's trash-for-trash, but Redmond is still better than Deslauriers.

I guess Bergevin learned nothing after acquiring Dwight King and Andreas Martinsen.

Bad trade for Buffalo, Deslauriers is a good 3rd or 4th liner player.

funny how everyone who actually watches the players you comment on disagrees with you. every time.
why don't you just exchange everything you type by "+1"? Deslauriers had 30 points in 3,5 years of NHL hockey. they are better off promoting other options.

Both depth AHL players. Laval (AHL) needed to shed a D-man, I guess Rochester (AHL) needed one.

Fair deal I guess, Redmond would of been nothing more than a depth dman for Laval (AHL) , too many guys ahead of him now (Juulsen, Lernout, Morrow, Davidson) and Laval needed a forward since MTL is keeping both De La Rose and Hudon that played Top 6 for the Icecaps last year.

Deslauriers only gets called up if there are injuries. nothing more than a depth 4th line grinder, Bergevin's favourite type of player!

The Rocket didn’t even need Redmond, I don’t know how good Deslauriers is, but seems like he might be an OK acquisition for the Rocket.

Win for the Sabres. Redmond is over 0.50 points per game in the AHL and has already made a 2 point contribution in 2 games.

Deslauriers can't play worth anything, glad Botterill added depth for Rochester with an offensively minded defenseman.

I think it’s a good trade, made both Rochester and Laval better.

How was I supposed to know that a lifelong 4th line plug would take off...?

He’s becoming the new Dale Weise for MTL. And he also fights. Deal looks good!

Yeah Deslauriers has been very good. Playing way over his head but its working for the time being. Can't say the same for Redmond. But honestly who cares? Both guys aren't game breakers. This will probably be Deslauriers one chance at fame in his career and will fizzle there after so nothing gained, nothing lost.

disappointed to see that maccarron and fucale weren't traded, since they are deemed to be an absolute necessity in 50% of all Canadians fans deals.
