I really can't see this for the Leafs. Although Gauthier, Rychel and Soshnikov has little value in an NHL trades, I don't know if Barrie's play is worth his 5.5m cap hit. And since the Leafs need cap space next year to clear space for the big three signings in 2019, i imagine the Leafs would prefer Borgman and his salary over Barrie. Barrie's speciality is the PP and the Leafs don't his help in that area.

I agree with palhal, I just don't think Tyson's offense is what Leafs need most. Just not a good fit,
