    Gauthier, although coming off injury not ready for NHL. . . .likely never will be. (too slow)! So why trade away 2 4th line centers for picks only? Unfortunately not about to get Dumba for JVR., let alone Dumba and picks. Giving up way too much for AA, who is yet unproven, if Leafs were truly interested, a prospect and a mid round pick should be plenty.

    How does this make the Leafs better now and in future? AA and Dumba for two regular NHL centres, JVR and Leafs top forward prospect and most ready NHL Dman prospect.

    Well Minnesota laughs at the trade so you don’t have to worry about losing JVR

    Minny already @ the cap level, cant take on more salary, if Toronto wants Dumba, it would have to be minor leaguers and good ones and a 2nd (2018 draft is stocked, I wouldt trade any 2018 picks at any round)
