Which team has the highest number of it's own drafted players on their roster. Or players who made their debut for that franchise (undrafted/moved before debut)

Tampa is ok. But they have a chunk of NYR spare parts. So they're at 71%. How do other teams measure up? The only result I can find online is from 2005 and I don't really wanna go through every roster.

Without going into research on other teams, I can tell you that the Caps have 9/23 players from outside the organization on their NHL roster (Oshie, Niskanen, Orpik, Eller, Chiasson, Connolly, Smith-Pelly, Graovac and Chorney). That's 60% home grown, probably towards the bottom of the league

Would Brandon Saad count as a "homegrown" player for the Blackhawks?

Probably. I mean he was drafted and brought up through their systems. But I can see why he might not be.

I would also consider Brandon Saad a "homegrown" product

I forget Dumont wasn't a Tampa kid from the beginning.

You know it's weird, you attack me for making stupid, irrelevant, useless, trolling posts, when everyone else in this forum attacks you for constantly making stupid, irrelevant, useless, trolling posts.

Let that sink in
