Lol he's not ruined just miss used as we like to do with any offensively creative forwards in Montreal square peg round hole he'll do great elsewhere last season he would of yet again improved his points if he wasn't injured for 20 gp the season before scored 30 goals your just listening to mediawho loves to get people fired up and Alex is there easy target the whole team is struggling not just Alex year after year we tell guys to focus on defence so much that they are scared to do anything creative

I wouldn't. Chucky has only 3 years of team control left, Nylander can slide his ELC one more season. There is just so much team control difference that it wouldn't be smart for Buffalo to do.

It doesn't make cap sense either. BoGo,Moulson and Pommer eat up ~$16m, Eichel is at $10m next year, Kane needs to be resigned, Reinhart will get a nice raise. Nylander on an ELC is ~$4m (before bonuses) cheaper than Chucky. The ELC will run through the end of BoGo, Moulson, and Pommer deals.
