What does Calgary need with Fehr, Carrick is unproven and hasn't shown he's a top 4 d-man in the NHL and the 3rd isn't necessary. here's my idea of a fair trade: D.Hamilton for Dermott, Van Riemsdyk and Leivo

For that package, it's a vast underpayment for Dougie Hamilton, it's a closer deal to acquire Freddie Hamilton.

You would need to give a marner or nylander

Hamilton is a top pairing defenseman. A second pairing defenseman cost the Oilers an elite winger. A top pairing guy certainly costs more than a third pairing guy, 4th liner and a third round pick

laugh Right Dude? Fehr has little to no value it would take one of Marner/Nylander to get the conversation started on Dougie Hamilton. That package doesn't cut it.
