Habs fan here, that's not enough for Galchenyuk imo, Kreider would make a lot more sense for the Habs and would be the price to pay. They could certainly use a centreman but Danault brings almost the same as Hayes, and he already has decent chemistry with Pacioretty. Habs could also badly use a big productive winger who drives the net, and Kreider fits that bill. Their remaining contracts are almost identical too so that trade makes sense from a cap management perspective too.

I agree with Texus... I would even ask for JT Miller both youngs.

Please no Chucky!!! MTL is in the same boat as NYR, desperate for Cs, and he's just not responsible enough to be a top c. Kinda like Hayes, great skills, but not the total package.
