I want to pursue a better forward first. Preferably one I can slot on the 2nd line in a pinch. (Smith I obviously can't slot there.)

Nope. Two reasons.

1. I have waaaaaay too many LHD prospects already. It's bad enough that Dean Kukan is in the minors, but I have Forsling, Rosen, and Soucy all on the depth chart too.
2. He's let me down a lot so far. Are they grooming him to be a pure defensive dman?

I do like you and you've helped me, but I can't say I'm excited to see you have 30+ untouchable assets. It doesn't bother me at all and it could be the right decision, but It really limits trying to make a deal.

What’s the price on Duhaime? I see him as a future 4th liner who has a lot of similarities to Accairi, my current guy.

are you interested in Colin Wilson? he can give you some center depth and also play some on the wing. His style works well in the playoffs and he won't cost a lot from your side.

I think you are close to being a cup contender, but I think the lack of a few true superstars mean you might need extra firepower from line 3. Do you have interest in 1st + vs Ryan Spooner? I can definitely justify the price in a multitude of ways if you need clarification. I think it would be an upgrade and allow you to move andrighetto + forbort for rhd upgrade to round out contender status. Lmk if interested.

There's no set price on him. Make an offer and we'll go from there.

Only if you retain. Even then I'm not sure what I'd give up for him.

As for an RHD upgrade, while it makes sense right now, I expect that Rasmus Andersson, Louie Belpedio, or Zach Whitecloud will make the jump next year, so I don't want to blow assets on a pure rental.
