I think the exact opposite lol. That’s a better return then what duchene got, and I’d say both patch and duchene have similar value

There is absolutely no chance that Vegas would trade Glass and Theodore who are young and future building block type players for Pacioretty who is older and has no idea of how to play a 200 foot game.

Yeah I don't see the fit from Vegas' perspective, a year and a half of Pacioretty is not at all what they will be looking for right now. They're building for the long term, they will sell off Perron and Neal at the deadline for even more prospects and picks to add to what they already have. Once they become real playoff contenders every season then they will look to add some veterans like Pacioretty to the mix via free agency or trade, but that's still a few years away.

I 100% agree with you that Vegas would never do this trade in a million years. But you really have no clue what kind of player Pacioretty is. His game exactly revolves around a 200 foot play style. He is a North / South player, he’s also the 3rd most used forward on the PK (behind Plekanec and Byron). Where he struggles is his east / west game, because he doesn’t dangle the puck very well.
