Don't want Nash or Vatanen.

Tavares will probably get more, but Leafs can afford it as long as they manage cap well and get kids signed to reasonable contracts

Matthews will get $12 million both Nylander and Marner will get close to $7.5 million each no way can the Leafs afford Tavares who will get closer to $11 million easily.

No the cap doesn't work. Performance bonuses, need money all the those RFAa the following season. Why waste money on Nash?

Nylander and Marner will make what their comparables make (6-6.5)
But only Nylander gets paid next year.
You sign someone like Nash because you have one more year until Matthews inevitable huge deal kicks in.
