Mikhail Sergachev Qualifying Offer

A $5,760,000 qualifying offer is required to retain the RFA rights of Mikhail Sergachev. The qualifying offer must be a one-way contract since Sergachev met both the games played and waivers requirements. The qualifying offer is equal to 100% of the previous contracts final season base salary because the salary was $1,000,000 or greater. However, because this contract was signed after July 10th, 2020, and the qualifying offer would be greater than 120% of the contracts annual average (AAV), it is limited to 120% of the AAV.
