korpisalo got a first and has far less trade value than samsonov, kuemper got first and a former first round pick

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bmarchand69</b></div><div>Prying both Konecny and JVR from philly will take more than that. TK is signed through 24-25 and is 25 years old. Look at the Jeannot, Meier, and Horvat trade prices – each of those players had no term left and the return was pretty large. TK is an absolute rat and philly, Torts, and Chuck Fletcher love him. I don't see that trade happening, even though he'd be a perfect fit for TO. TO should wait on Steeves – he will turn into a Ross Colton-type player when he gets his shot.
JVR probably takes at least a 1st, 3rd, and 5th to retain 50% of 7mil.
Does TO want to get rid of Kerfoot for picks? What good does that do this year? Depth in the East is so important right now given the bloodbaths in each series that are going to unfold.</div></div>
i saw on twitter that phillys asking price for JVR is a 3rd and the rest is a fair package for konecny

I have no problem getting JVR to create more depth scoring, solidifying 2nd unit PP--- but not at the cost of Kerfoot. His value to this roster is way undervalued.
I'd rather keep Holl than try for Sturm. Just my preference. I'll keep D depth before bottom 6 depth.</div></div>
JVR is on par with kerfoot on defence and can play both wings and move up to line 1 with injury, kerfoot cant. in the lineup shown above he doesnt have really have a role espicially at that cap hit

i disagree because with half retained theres a good chance of an extension at a good value contract plus his numbers will inflite switching from owen tippet and morgan frost to nylander and tavares

I can't see Holl & Kampf sticking around at the same AAV on a new deal - same goes for Schenn leaving Vancouver to sign the same deal in Toronto. Would also be surprised to see Gaudreau (44 points last year, 36 pt pace this year + strong defense) and Hinostroza (6 pts/11 GP) signing for what's basically a cost-of-living raise on a new team; Gaudreau especially has played himself into the $3M range for me.</div></div>
looking back i relized there was way too many underpays

I also don't see Schenn willingly signing in Toronto (wouldn't need both him and Benn anyways) or Blackwell being brought back. Kampf and Holl (I don't expect him back) would need more, maybe 2.5m and 3m+/-250k respectively, The terms of off for most if not all those signings. Need more cheaper options than Hinostraza and Gaudreau (probably current Marlies). Knies is probably going to be on the roster.</div></div>

randomly generated leafs team
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SwaymanForVezina</b></div><div>Howd you do that? I really wanna try this out.</div></div>
For each player I randomly decide if they are traded using a spin wheel I do 3/4 keep 1/4 trade if it’s trade I randomly select a team and weather it’s a forward defence goalie or draft pick or 2 of the 4 using a wheel. Then a do a 50/50 if I should sign rfa and then with the remaining roster spots I go to to cap friendly if’s list sort it by pos and use a random number generator to select the free agent then I use a random number generator to figure out the length of the contract and the money of it and I set the cap rlly high in case I go over the normal one
