Coyle/Debrusk are significantly better than Evan/Milano. And Evan’s contract makes Foligno look like a gem.

For real. Ready.

Trades:

You are not moving Foligno full cap hit. Pipe dream. He has an NTC for half the league and wants a contender. He’ll be a little less selective facing being buried. But nobody wants him. Only 6-8 teams can legitimately take on bad cap and half the league is looking to move it. Moving any cap is not going to be easy at this point. Donny sat on his hands to long. Moving bad will be painful. Likely have to retain to move him at all.

I know you have a boner for Dunn. Give up that fantasy. They are not moving him. Their PP QB, best puck mover, entering his prime, top 3 on their team. Trading him does not make them better. That trade absolutely sucks for them. Puts them over the cap with only 4m in cap space available right now as well, pointless to even try. Coyle still has trade protection and no desire to leave as well.

Nosek is probably 5th max. 6th realistically.

Signings:

Zacha is not giving his prime FA years away for his arb #. Makes no sense. He’ll take that at 1 year and bet on himself. Best bet with term is 4 years at 3.5. He’s not in position of strength to sign long term deal.

Rodrigues should look more like Milano but for 1-3 years. Milano has done nothing to deserve that. Soft and one dimensional . 1 year 2m should be about it. Wasted $. Need to go to 37 and 46.

If you are signing them for 4m total there will be some serious bonus overages carried to next year. Not good. The whole point of moving salary is to pay them more this year so you don’t carry it into next.

There are better d men than Stone still available that can be had for league minimum and not for 3 years.
