So is Couture...and he’s playing a lot better

D looks pretty bad. Worse with Matheson as ur 2LD....
And then Holden....

Pens top 15 prospects
Maniscalco did get a goal for WBS today, so there is that. He did go to camp so....got that look. In fact all those guys went to camp....
Probably my autistism that I remembered this, but you always remember the the worst takes I guess.
I mean, some people would just take their lumps, own it, laugh. You do you though

This aged well

Both terrible.
Deangelo on waivers for a reason.
Matheson maybe better defensively and that’s saying something

Roslovic
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Marino4Norris</b></div><div>Poulin? Yikes</div></div>
Seems like a lot, but I mean most likely outcome is Poulin ends up worse than or comparable to Roslovic in a few years...
Considering prospects outcomes
Just looking at it that way

Not nearly enough.
Roslovic is pretty comparable to McCann honestly.
I’d consider Riikola + Poulin for him. Play him with Geno and slide Rust down.

Makes pens worse and rangers would decline anyway.
Malkin is seeing out at least his current deal

Pick up from waivers
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GrinReaper</b></div><div>
Just a heads up to his contract type one way or two way is only for contract purposes has nothing to do if he’s waiver eligible or exempt, a one way deal he gets the same pay at any level and a two way he gets paid say 60k in the AHL and 700k in the NHL.</div></div>
Ya. Outside of CHEL, that’s correct. Two way implies NHL-AHL salary differences, nothing to do with waivers
CF has a useful waivers tool if anyone is confused

Pick up from waivers
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GrinReaper</b></div><div>I could be wrong on this, he finished the yr in the AHL, so not being invited to camp is he technically still in the AHL, like I said I could be wrong, but if he hasn’t been recalled to take part in camp?</div></div>
Ya it’s weird this season with him not going to camp, but every waivers eligible player assigned to the AHL has to go through. Doesn’t matter where he ended up last season.
Sure in this one.
Example...Warsofsky on waivers today in Toronto, not going to NHL camp, was in AHL at end of last season.

Ya I don’t thk he’s going to be anything at this point, but he at least deserves an honest look away from NYI.

Pick up from waivers
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GrinReaper</b></div><div>He doesn’t need to clear waivers he’s not invited to camp so he’ll remained assigned to the AHL</div></div>
that is inaccurate. Camp or not he’s a waivers eligible player on a two way contract....has to be waived to go to AHL regardless of not actually being in camp

No chance they waive Ceci going into the season.
Sceviour maybe.
Def arnt bringing Sheary back or they would have already
I’m down for Haula but is he getting 3.5 at this point?
Fine, but I think pens fans need to just accept that the roster is going to be what it is for the time being
JR and Sully said Matheson Ceci to start, Jankowski or McCann at 3C. Just live with it for now

Big part of the PK. Sure hes probably making 1m or so too much. But they really like him and he was quite good.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>pharrow</b></div><div>I mean he really doesn't unless you think Marino is signing for 4.75....which I don't think is going to happen, especially on a 5 year deal which makes no sense for the penguins.
He either signs 2 years, or 8 is my guess. And either way it's for more than 4.75. I'd guess he'll get 6 range. Blueger and Zar should have enough cap space though to keep Tanev.</div></div>
Even if Marino makes 6m, they don't need to move Tanev and probably don't want to.
6 or just under seems fair for 5-6 years, but much less if its a two year. Maybe like less than Serg money....around 4.5

Ya I think he’s shaping up to be a good 3-4 D. He doesn’t have counting stats but he doesn’t play on the PP. He’s got bottom pair floor.
So not a bust at all. Just not a game changer
