MARNER SIGNS FOR 11616000
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BrandonDubinskyGOAT</b></div><div>Well, I think this year we will get a good chance to see Lafreniere. For me, Lafreniere is the best player available since McDavid. The way he plays reminds me of Crosby, similar puck protection and agility. Plus he’s a complete player like Stone.</div></div>
We'll see. Haven't watched too much of him, hopefully I'll see more this season. Also will be interesting to see how he performs under such high expectations... being "the next next one"

In their prime yes. If they were to be together rn it would be like playing against two pylons

All Time Russia Line Up
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BrandonDubinskyGOAT</b></div><div>Well obviously the United States are a more disciplined team when it comes to defensive play. The Russians are an all out attacking team that don’t care about defence and that is why they never achieve anything as a country. However I do believe the Russian defence is underrated compared to what most people credit them for, like Markov and Gonchar were very good at both ends of the ice in their prime.</div></div>
I disagree most of those players were on the Red Army team. Where not doing what the coach said could land you in the gulag.
I'd add Yashin, Kovalchuk and Kovalev.
I do like this roster a few players always get overlooked but you've added all of them. Excellent Job!!!

Greatest All Time Lineup
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BrandonDubinskyGOAT</b></div><div>Thank you for the recommendation. Personally, I think Brodeur is a little overrated because he played in front of a stellar defense during his days with the Devils and faced a very small amount of high danger chances. Hasek would have made this team however I believe Tretiak at his best was more impressive. The performances against some of the greatest Canadian players of all time where he made world class save one after another was truly iconic and deserving to have his name recognized as one of the greatest goalies ever.</div></div>
Brodeur was overrated? Not only did he have great fundamentals, they actually changed the game because of his stick handling and implemented the trapezoid behind the net. Serious question though. You think his defence was better than Roy's in Montreal or Colorado? Really though, I think you did a great job here! You had a lot of players to pick from and I think you did really well. I myself wouldn't change much.
