Do we resign Perron though? And if it was to be Simon Robertsson or Tanner Dickinson instead of Bolduc, would you do that?

Barbie - ROR - Buch
Kyrou - Thomas - Vova
Then a combo of lines for bottom 2 in no particular order:
Saad - Sunny - Perron
Kostin - Schenn - Bozak</div></div>
Brown isn't getting sent down. Also he'd have to clear waivers which he wouldn't.

Eichel Like return
This is closer than most proposals I've seen but don't think it's there either. I really think Perunovich, Hofer, Bolduc, a 1st and a cap dump would be what gets it done. I know Bill Armstrong would love to add Hofer, Arizonas goaltending is ass. Kostin doesn't have much trade value at this point, but would be solid to hold onto because he can play now for cheap , same goes for Walman. May even take Neighbours instead of Bolduc, and I know that would be their best offer especially considering the connection Armstrong has to that pick and the connection between Neighbours and Dylan Guenther. But I wouldn't trade Neighbours.

Simple, just give more of other good assets. And Perron could be thrown in and make sense as him expiring makes the cap work without any sweat off Coyotes back or they could flip him as a rental to another contender. The biggest hold up isn't that we don't have the assets to make it work, it's finding a way to make the cap work without hurting the teams strength up front or chemistry.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mokumboi</b></div><div>Allow me to clarify: no value to the Blues. Can you even imagine some whiner who ran off to Russia because he wasn't getting ice time would fare under Berube? Homey don't play that.
Besides, you are overselling the kid, as he remains a below average skater who doesn't compete hard on the boards. Again, this is not going to interest the Blues.</div></div>
Do they have a defenseman of interest that could help us now? If that came with Kravstov that could be ideal right?Kravstov would probably fair pretty well on our "3rd line" judging by his skill set and who we could put him on a line with to make up where he may lack/set an example. Something like this=
Kyrou-Oreilly-Perron
Saad-Thomas-Buchnevich
Barbie-Schenn-Kravstov
He does still have a ton of offensive upside and a lot of the work ethic and defensive stuff we've seen our coaching staff drill into young guys. They could turn him around and possibly have him thrive here. If he doesn't work out we'd still get a defenseman we may need and have enough depth in the forward group to fill the line up proper.

This puts us in a really rough spot when Kyrou, Thomas, O'Reilly contracts are done. McDonough contract is also a bit scary. He's 32 and is already starting to show some signs of aging this season. As good as he is, I think there might be some better options out there.

I like your guy's optimism. It's not just this game or Arizona or the Carolina/Edmonton losses (think some of our better hockey was played in these two losses actually) but even in most the games we've won there was slop city. San Jose is the only game I can point to where we actually controlled the game, played a full 60 minutes and looked clean overall. Idk I'm worried we're just not that good lol.

I just get the feeling this isn't a team capable of a deep playoff run. Our hot start definitely wasn't representative of our play, this slump isn't really either. But evening out somewhere in the middle of good enough to scrape out wins in games we're supposed to win and losing in hideous fashion against teams we're supposed to beat is not good enough.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Chopper02</b></div><div>On the trade block...but since that won't happen it's hard to say. I think what you have here is good. Pair him with Thomas so that you have two guys who could take a draw.</div></div>
I thought this looked good too. Him and Vladi had good chemistry together before and both of them will pot a lot of goals with Thomas feeding them. Schenn plays a pretty good 2 way game and like you said he can take draws too. I think Saad, Barbie and Buchnevich still keeps the spirit of "the identity line" but with additonal scoring punch. Gets Buch back on his preferred side too.

Scandella is TRASH. This team desperately needs another shut down D man on the left side. Scotty P should also come up. Scandella is no more than a bottom pair D man, Bortuzzo is no more than a 7th D man. Team seriously needs to address this

Gotta upgrade D
They definitely HAVE to make a move for a defenseman. Idfk who would take Scandella back in any trade though, he been down right terrible. There's gotta be someone willing to roll the dice on him for a pick or something lol. I doubt Anaheim takes this simply because he's part of the trade. Lindholm would be a perfect pick up and immediately make us so much more balanced. Bringing up Scotty asap is a must to me at this point. Every player we have to play LD is a major liability imo and Bortuzzo has not been great either. Chaos in our own end every time a team gets set.

He's been just fine and still getting chances, just no chemistry. I think Kyrou and Buch should stick together with Barby. Keep Thomas with Tarasenko and ROR with Perron.
I could see Neal playing with Thomas and Tarasenko if he continues to play like he did last night and Saad with ROR and Perron.</div></div>
I get that. Just after a couple poor showings it may be worth giving a new look to the line up and think this strikes a good balance while atleast keeping the couple pairs that had the better of play together. Thomas+Vladi, Kyrou+Buch. They're heating up together and think they should be put with what's arguably the best pieces to compliment those pairs right now. Saad our best true left winger with Thomas and Vladi. O'Reilly our best center with Kyrou and Buch

Understandable, he's still been a stud on faceoffs, I don't necessarily blame him for the top lines performance or any individual for that matter just think maybe giving this lineup a try would be worth it for other reasons mentioned.really liked Saad, Thomas, Vladi line before. And I can kind of agree with your thoughts on Neal, especially once we're all healthy lmao. Would you put Kostin there in his place?

No clue just because where we're at cap wise with all the people out and call ups. But if we get that situated he's starting 4th line RW likely.

Just the wrong deal. Ask for 2-2.5 mil retention. Give the 1st, Sundqvist or someone else and a prospect. Find another trade route to move Scandella maybe. Isles might be interested especially if we take Lindholm off the market.
