He is a 100% Product of the System. He can be easily replaced by any backup (see Grubauer) and they still make the playoffs. He doesn't considerably make whatever team is on so much better to justify him being in the top 5.

1.) Carey Price
2.) Pekka Rinne
3.) Jonathan Quick
4.) Sergie Bobrovsky
5.) Devin Dubnyuk
6.) John Gibson
7.) Cory Schneider
8.) Henrick Lunquvist
9.) Braden Holtby
10.) Cam Talbot</div></div>

I'm gonna start out with I 100% agree with you that Holtby is a system goalie put into a great situation, he's definitely top 10, borderline top 5 but would take a dip if put in a different situation. And you could also argue Quick is a system goalie though; just look at Budaj, Bernier, and Jones when they were Kings. Budaj and Bernier are really nothing but career backups who played very well there and I wouldn't put Jones in my top 10 but he flourished with his time on the Kings.</div></div>

I'm glad I can find someone with the right sense of mind with "product of the system." My thing on Quick is that Martin Jones is still good, Budaj has bounced around and Bernier is still a decent backup.

I still think that if you put Quick on lets say the Flyers, they make the top-3 of the Metro. high stretch, but I'll be able to contend that they make the WC, which is more realistic.
