Agreed. And Bode Wilde isn't far behind. Sheesh our right side is going to be filthy

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AlexG35</b></div><div>I get that he still has productive years left, but on a team like the Isles we need our younger guys and their ELC's to make up for the terrible contracts Snow handed out. Plus the Isles first 2 lines just cant be broken up, they have arguably the best top-6 in the NHL right now, the chemistry is unreal between them. And then what are you gonna do, bury Pacioretty on the 3rd line while making $5+ million a year? I just can't see a fit and feel like most Montreal fans make this trade because they don't realize how good the Isles winger's have been this year.</div></div>
Well no, if you believe your top six is set, then do not even look at Patch.

Comment trade offers for these guys:
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>krakowitz</b></div><div>Dal Colle for a 4th round pick.
Guy has very little value. You can't sell him as a top prospect anymore.</div></div>
But Vanecek and Siegenthaler do?....he's the same age or slightly older. How old was Grubauer before he became the most valuble backup in hockey history again? :laugh
Once again, overpay? Absolutely not but is he garbage because he hasn't lit up the NHL at 21 yet? No way. I'd still take him on my team any day and NYI would be silly to lose him for a 4th rounder.

OEL IS NOT BEING TRADED
Isles fans roll with the punches over the thirty “Tavares is going to sign with our non playoff team” posts a day.
There’s a special kind of irony in telling an Isles fan on this site that she/he needs to stop making posts about acquiring another team’s star player.

Top 10 Players at Each Position
This is current, not recent or projected, right?
Swap Stamkos and Scheifele
Pietrangelo is better than Ekblad
Ehlers is going to be there shortly, but not sure if I'd put him above someone like Landeskog or JVR (or homer pick Schwartz) just yet.
I could argue goalies all day lol, overall the list looks pretty good, nice job. :cheers

Acquiring TOP5 goalie
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AlexG35</b></div><div><div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>phillyjabroni</b></div><div>Braden Holtby is no where close to being a top 5 goalie. He is a 100% Product of the System. He can be easily replaced by any backup (see Grubauer) and they still make the playoffs. He doesn't considerably make whatever team is on so much better to justify him being in the top 5.
1.) Carey Price
2.) Pekka Rinne
3.) Jonathan Quick
4.) Sergie Bobrovsky
5.) Devin Dubnyuk
6.) John Gibson
7.) Cory Schneider
8.) Henrick Lunquvist
9.) Braden Holtby
10.) Cam Talbot</div></div>
I'm gonna start out with I 100% agree with you that Holtby is a system goalie put into a great situation, he's definitely top 10, borderline top 5 but would take a dip if put in a different situation. And you could also argue Quick is a system goalie though; just look at Budaj, Bernier, and Jones when they were Kings. Budaj and Bernier are really nothing but career backups who played very well there and I wouldn't put Jones in my top 10 but he flourished with his time on the Kings.</div></div>
I'm glad I can find someone with the right sense of mind with "product of the system." My thing on Quick is that Martin Jones is still good, Budaj has bounced around and Bernier is still a decent backup.
I still think that if you put Quick on lets say the Flyers, they make the top-3 of the Metro. high stretch, but I'll be able to contend that they make the WC, which is more realistic.
