I would not add a 3rd to Greenway for Strome, I'm not even sure I would do it straight up.

Predicting Trade Deadline moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lancebmx</b></div><div>Well I didn't realize how highly touted those prospects were but I think the fit is there. After Brodin its Kulikov and Merrill on the depth chart of they have Goligoski play the right side. More or less depends on Addison I think.</div></div>
Incorrect...
Brodin-Dumba
Goligoski-Spurgeon
Kulikov-Merrill/Addison
Goligoski will play on the left. There's no reason for him to play on the right. Of the three, Merrill will pull that duty, not Goligoski.
Likewise, Dumba won't be moved at the tdl, there's no point to do that. If he's moved at all, it'll be next offseason. Acquiring Leddy makes <em>zero</em> sense.
The prospects involved have already been touched upon, so I won't get into that. But no one has touched on the fact we still have Dumba... soooooo...

dubie hire me
The Wild have no incentive to make this deal. We're not trying to compete, Rielly is a rental we won't and can't re-sign, and Wallstedt is the goalie of the future that we need.
Amirov is a good start for Dvorak, but it'll take another decent piece or two.
Crouse for Brooks makes little sense for Arizona. They just swap out for a lesser player.

beyond the year
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tkecanuck341</b></div><div>Jebus that's a huge overpayment for Fiala. You realize he can just elect arbitration and become a UFA the following summer, right?
If he is traded, I suspect he'll get a return similar to what Sam Reinhart got. 2nd and a "good" prospect. In other words, upgrade the prospect a bit (Madden?) and drop Vilardi from the trade.</div></div>
Reinhart returned a 2022 1st round pick and a prospect. Fiala has an additional year of rights to him that Reinhart didn't. Fiala should get more than Reinhart did.

The Leafs are Dunn with Rielly
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>cbdpushp</b></div><div>Yeah probably, but that's exactly why I'd want Foligno. Huge. Power. Forward. Maybe Minnesota want to let Greenway have more runway in that role and would be okay with giving up Foligno.</div></div>
They're not blocking each other. They play opposite wings of the same line, they work together.

Minnesota says no. That's a pretty weird deal, but we're good with Foligno, and so is Guerin.

Counter-offer
Turcotte, Kaliyev, and the Kings 2022 1st
For
Kaprizov
Take it or leave it. LA isn't prying Kaprizov out of Minnesota for anything less than that.
Also, since when has NHL 21 ever served as an ounce of credibility when it comes to actual value in regards to actual trades?

There sure is pieces. A lot of them. Value-wise thinking, Arizona could get Byfield if they gave all of their 15 second-round picks to you. Would you do it?

Yeah and Byfield is not even close to the player Kaprizov is.

It really pays to know what you're talking about before you talk about it.

Oh I mean, no the Wild definitely say no value wise.
Like if the Wild offered Alex Khovanov, Connor Dewar, Jack McBain, Filip Johansson, Hunter Jones and a 2nd for Byfield, the Kings would say no. Do you understand?

So basically all of LA's not-decisive players and prospects for the MVP of Minnesota...
Just have to wonder why they'd do it... In comparison this is the dictionary definition of quantity for quality deal.
