Uhh yes he is lol.
Toronto would pack his bags if they could get him the **** out and afford some depth, but he ain't approving a trade.

Just what Buffalo needs. Another left shot D man. Gotta think that's an easy decline for the Sabres. Hawks would probably pay a 6th for Perbix. And yeah, I agree. The glory days are over in Tampa.

Why the F*** would UTAH pay heavily to dump Kerfoot's contract? While retaining on it ? Absolutely delusional. So you get an asset for Mikeyev but Utah pays you a 3 and RFA rights to a better player on a cheaper contract they retain on to top it off . This may be the most absolutely homerish ACGM conversation n a long time

Realistic offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GMDannyB</b></div><div>He has plenty of talent but can’t stay healthy. He hasn’t played a full season for any team in his entire career. Ur best ability is availability. He’s useless when he is hurt half the season at minimum every year. Frost is a low-end 2C/good 3C that Torts doesn’t like so he puts him with line mates that aren’t near his skill level and he still had back to back 40 point years. On any team that would use him properly he could easily push for 60. Both players are products of the teams they are on and players they play with. Toronto inflates Robertson’s numbers and Philly deflates Frost’s numbers. Also centers are way more valuable than wingers and that’s just a fact.</div></div>
so let me get this straight, Frost gets more ice time, more power play time, better linemates for most of that time, easier zone starts and Robertson's numbers are being inflated? lol

Realistic offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GMDannyB</b></div><div>You wouldn’t tho. The Flyers have no reason to move Cates except for any overpay. What are you gonna do trade one of your 1sts for him? It would make no sense and the Flyers have no reason to move him otherwise. You may convince the Flyers to give up Laughton for a 2nd but not Cates. Also Laughton literally had a better year than Cates so it’s funny you all hate Laughton but want Cates. Cates’ ceiling is probably only a slightly better version of Laughton lol.</div></div>
Laughton was literally one of the worst forwards in the league by every advanced metric. The Sabres dont need to make a move with Philly

Laughton is an overpaid 3rd line center. As a near cap dump, you’d be lucky to get a third rounder for him. As the others have said he’s not the guy Buffalo would ask about. But there’s a whole lot of wishful thinking in these other trades too.

Buying out Skinner and trading Savoie and Power
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AStovetop</b></div><div>I'd take on Skinner for a 3rd if I'm the Sharks. That buyout is fine for the first year but man it goes up a lot after that. After next year:
$4,444,445 $6,444,445 $2,444,445 $2,444,445 $2,444,445
He's a cap dump not a buyout.</div></div>
He's a cap dump with a full ntc that doesn't wanna move away from his family (near toronto). In other words, he's gonna veto any trade. So if you REALLY wanna get rid of him, he's a buyout. To be fair I could be way off here, but that's what it looks like.

Adams a Jack Adams
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BuffaloSoldier55</b></div><div>The one Columbus fan in the thread said that's the type of package it would take. Also that it's foolish.
Maybe a Prospect, 3rd rd pick conditional 2nd if he plays benchmark number of games.
Kuzy went for just a 3rd out of the program, he was consistently healthier however.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AntiAnalytics</b></div><div>Idk what to tell ya dude
EVERY Sabres fan thinks it’s a bad idea
But maybe you’re right, & everyone else is wrong, Lol</div></div>
And that's why Laine is unlikely to move this summer. Columbus can afford to wait to see if he rebounds. There's absolutely no pressure to sell him for pennies on the dollar. So to convince the org to trade him would require an offer commesurate with the top-line winger he can be, otherwise they'll just wait. This offer is that, so Columbus would accept. But obviously Buffalo would never offer it, so that's moot. Sounds like OP is just looking to see what that would mean for Buffalo, and Sabres fans just want to be mad (and that I don't blame y'all for one bit).
