So like a 1st, Tryamakin and Pearson or something along those lines. Pearson could be Bearschi or Tanev or Hutton or whoever Colorado likes.</div></div>
So then essentially we start with swapping picks and kind of go from there?

Yeah, I really think I over valued COL's -- The Barrie Trade is just picking a random team for me, don't really understand value all too well. But from VAN's stand point - what do you think they would give up to get both Hughes?

I like it AJ. Nice :)
Is one year of Tyson Barrie worth that for Leafs? I understand the need to shore up things for EXP, but do the Leafs need Barrie? I generally think that they don't, but I've been wrong before.

I think you're severely overvaluing your assets, Hanifin is good but not even close to the realm of MacK.

What would it take to get BOTH Landeskog and Duchene in one deal? Hanifin + (Rask or Tuevo) + Top D prospect + 1st ?</div></div>
For me I think in order to get both Landeskog and Duchene it would have to be Hanifin, Aho,Top D (Bean / Fluery maybe) and a first ---- I know it's a steep offer, but I honestly think that would be something that would have to happen IMO. I know the canes have said Aho is untouchable but in order to return a 1C and a top 6winger I think it would have to net something like that.

As an avs fan, I'm not a huge fan of Barrie, but I don't think he is better than Johnson. I think Johnson is the much more complete defender. Barrie is just too unreliable on defense. The only reason I give up Johnson in this trade is that the Avs new 'core' in my opinion have a cup window that will not fit into Johnson's prime, which is now. I think that is a fair trade for Tampa.

IMO - Colorado protects Pickard and exposes Varly. Vegas will not want to take a chance on a goalie who just went through groin surgery. And then if they take Varly, so be it. They can have that nearly 6mil / year contract. We will take that and sign quality FAs or hold on to it to pay our young players.

Does this team make the playoffs?
Not if the defender is not the best player in the draft. You always have to take the best available when going 1 - 4 after that fill in needs. If CO gets#1 there's no way that they do not draft Patrick unless they somehow make a trade.
Also we are dead last tin goals for, so we need more help up front --- we need help all over the ice, but a huge piece of getting better is getting rid of the expiring contracts ie: Tyutin, Mitchell, Golobef etc.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JohnConger</b></div><div>Carolina Deal: Aho and Hanifin have been said to be off of the table even for Duchene
Boston: Whilst Barrie and Landy carry good value, I find it hard to believe Boston would part with Carlo AND McAvoy
EDM: This deal will honestly happen. I give it a 90% chance this happens</div></div>
If just for Duchene, you are completely right, but I add in Grigorenko who has proven success in league at 21.
Realistically don't think either are too far off.
[Edit] - could probably take #1 pick off table for Boston.
