Buffalo deal puts them about 2 million over the cap, Montral trade puts them 5 million over.

Pretty sure its a no from everyone. Nashville isn't getting near enough for what they are giving up, Rangers would be like 8 million over the cap once you factor in bonuses and i'm sure both Nash and NYR love the idea on retaining salary on a guy for 5 years.

Agreed, it would also make Stome expendable. Flip him for a 2nd so we at least have something in the top 60 at the draft. Miller, Nils will be ready soon enough... defense is gonna suck this year regardless, God help me if I have to watch Johnson all season.....

Agreed on most, that Holtby contract is a steal. If Demko keeps playing like he did in the playoffs and they want to, Holtby will be easy to move, short deal and inexpensive for a goalie thats won a cup.
