At least jets offering tenth would make sense, they're far closer to contenders than other teams with top ten picks, cirelli would be a crucial piece as he would fit what they need to a t.

What could the Ducks sign Cirelli to while retaining around 45% of Henrique’s contract for the next four years? 👆As far as Cirelli being worth the 6 OA... someone’s smoking some sherm this late Saturday night.</div></div>
I like cirelli but it does seem like he's getting a bit over hyped on these boards. I think his ideal role is a second line c, valuable but not a top 10 pick in a deep(especially at f) draft

Detroit, Ottawa, Minnesota, Florida, Winnipeg all could use 2C depth and Tyler Johnson would be the perfect candidate. Plus you can leave him exposed for Seattle next summer.

I could see a couple teams picking them up for free. TJ could be a good fit in Buffalo for nothing but the cap hit for instance. It would basically be a UFA signing for them.

Pretty bad on the back end if he doesn't retain ability, but his value is defense which tends to age better than offense.

Eklund and my thoughts
Bouchard isn’t close to Sergachev value. And Tampa will want salary dumped even IF they think of trading Serge. Edmonton wouldn’t even have the cap space to sign Sergachev. He could be offer sheeted easily and Serge will in turn sign an offer sheet instead of being in Edmonton.

Selling Gourde now
Tampa is not in a position where they can ask for an asset. Their players will decide where they want to go.
If MTL is (1) one of the few teams Gourde would accept to go and (2) one of the few teams that can afford him, you have good chance to only have 1 trade partner. You have 0 leverage because you're forced to trade him (or Johnson/Killorn) and you have 1 partner.
Because it is a dangerous contract and because you have 0 leverage, the return is "Future considerations" at max. You could maybe find more partners with a sweetner.
I love Gourde, but don't expect a 2nd from Brisebois

You're not getting an early 2nd for Gourde. Even MTL cant swallow that contract without Tampa paying them to do so.

Selling Gourde now
Good analysis of Gourde the whole Tampa situation. Montreal is one of few teams that can take on Gourde and his 5.16m cap without shedding cap. Maybe, (though I doubt it) he would have waive for Montreal. But let's imagine he does and it might be the only team that waives for, his "trade" value is very low. Tampa might just take a 7th rounder and say thank you as it allows them to sign Circelli for instance.

You know what the funny thing is, I don’t count on a team that sub 21 years old.
I don’t expect much. We what we have and the future is very bright and we will become a dynasty in a couple of years. I rather develop the best prospect in the draft since McDavid than have success with much rn. All though kuch Mika and Artemi would be top 3 in the league, I rather have laf and so do the rangers franchise. Would you rather be lethal in years to come or be good now and only make it to the second round bc if the rangers trade for kuch that’s exactly what would happen. Also the bolts wouldn’t give up kuch and the rangers wouldn’t give up laf so what was the point of the trade?

Trade Mc Donough before Sergachev
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DoubleADoubleK</b></div><div>Doubt McD agrees on moving</div></div>
Many Tampa fans seem rather "two faced". First they think players will sign at a cheaper $$$$ because of the "advantages" of living in Tampa. Then when they want to make a cap compliant fantasy roster, they think their players will waive their NTCs to play with lesser teams. At least in this post, the trade is one of the better teams in the NHL. So many posts have NTC players going to some of the least attractive NHL teams with cap ...such as Ottawa, Minnesota , and Buffalo.

When you start to factor in the injuries, contract, and age, the two having even similar value is plain crazy though.</div></div>
The only reason Carlo out scored him was the role they put mcdonagh in this season. Hes a way better offensive player than Carlo.

Trade Mc Donough before Sergachev
Mcdonagh is just plain better than Carlo and I think it's a good move for Boston. All this hes a defensive defensman is rubbish. Hes had excellent offensive numbers his whole career. His role changed this season in Tampa with sergachev s increased role. Guy had 46 pts last season. In Boston he goes back to top 4. The problem of course is he replaces krug but now you have to replace Carlo.

McDonagh is fine right now but he'll soon regress and his contract will be a problem for any team. If there's a team that needs to add a pick, it's TBL.
31, 6x$6.75M and NTC, yikes.</div></div>

Glad they won the cup this year, Because after this season it might be a little harder to repeat next season depending on who they lose.
