No. Cirelli makes too much. Sabres can’t afford him.

Buyout is too much. No team would want him in a trade plus a NMC. They are stuck with him for at least another year.

If the Sabres were to ever trade power they would get a star player in return not a high end 3rd line player.

That contract is actually quite good given his defensive abilities and decent offensive contributions. I'm doing this personally, we've got to start trying to win eventually</div></div>
He makes too much it’s why they traded Mittelstadt and he’s a lot better than Cirelli.

Hopefully they add to the forward core so he can be the 13th forward.

I don’t think it really matters too much. Most teams have their checking line as the 3rd line. Which would be the role a guy like Laughton or Stenlund play.

It’s going to be a guy like Kevin Stenlund will make less than 2 million strong F-O percentage, good penalty killer.

Kevyn Adams called him the fabric of the team in his press conference after the trade deadline. I think it was a fair assumption that he was coming back up until the latest report.

Toronto will have to pay to get rid of Kämpf below average 4c with term and not a cheap contract won’t be easy to move.

I don’t know Sabres traded Mittelstadt because they didn’t want to give him the contract Cirelli has and Mittelstadt has been the much better player the past couple years.

Yep that’s the normal return for a winger with no term left they never have a ton of value.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jsteed02</b></div><div>They're young and can compete for a roster spot, Toronto is in a position to allow them to develop unlike Buffalo needing them to produce</div></div>
Jack Quinn was on pace for 27 goals this year with having a torn Achilles and broken ankle. While having a 37 point rookie year AHL rookie of the year in 21-22 he doesn’t need anymore developing he’s a very good top 6 winger. Benson is already a good NhL player at 18 with a 30 point season.
