No, we’ll keep Kulich
Nice try though

Rationale: you have too many forward projected players. Let’s trade one of the better ones for multiple lesser ones.
You didn’t think about this much did you

Trading a top prospect for borderline NHL depth players and a second just because we have a lot of good prospects seems like good logic...

Not a bad idea, don't think I would include Kulich though. Plenty of other Prospects to choose from.

That point wasn’t exactly clear. But it is now. I don’t know if the Sabres are looking for another guy who would play third line minutes, because Krebs is doing that right now. What they really need is a dedicated fourth line Center who wins face offs, can kill penalties, and is responsible in his own end. I doubt Drury would want to be that guy, or he would probably be happy to stay in Carolina.

So you’re saying that Drury is worth less than a second round pick. I would certainly offer a third round pick and not be too upset if that were the cost. I’d rather keep Jokiharju unless his contract demands are completely nuts.

Wanted Top 6 Winger
Don't see the need for another top 6 winger unless the team can someone convince Terry to buy out Skinner..... and that ain't happening. Borgen and DeMelo are good targets but I can't see DeMelo coming to Buffalo. Borgen maybe.....
As an aside, it's still trade Joker for Drury week I see.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>So you're trading away two young forwards and a first-round draft pick to acquire an expensive (although highly productive) short-term veteran forward who will push Skinner and Tuch down to the third line, trading away two RhDs only to trade draft picks to get one RhD back, and all this to acquire a #3C and #4C? Seems like a lot of churning to me, especially in light of the fact that I agree with Rooney that neither Jet is likely to be available.
I think that there is a reason why Kevyn Adams felt himself free to trade Casey Mittelstadt. It will be interesting to see what his plan is.</div></div>
His plan is resigning Girgensons promoting one of Kulich, Rosen or savoie and adding a 4th line center.

Hopefully (operative word) that 2025 pick won't be higher than 16th overall.
How does Mitts, Krebs and a 2025 1st for Byram and Colton sound?

My thoughts process revolves around the Avs re-signing Mitts, the cost of doing it, and the number of lineup spots they'll need to fill using only $11M+ to do that work right now.
I think the return for the Avs is fair.

This Avs fan would do that in a heartbeat. It's an overpay for Colton if you ask me.
At the same time, I think he brings a lot of what Buffalo needs. Maybe there is something here.

Well COL and its potential cap issues could be a good trading partner, a cheaper (in trade) would be Laughton from PHI or equal offer for Cirelli from TB, or Chytil from NYR or Pageau from NYI.
Trenin OR Blueger is a good shot for a sizeable 4th liner, but I'd like to see Kulich or Ostlund or Rosen get in at some point.
And I think a better stay at home 2RD is needed than Jokiharju. (UFAs Roy, Tanev, Pesce come to mind.

LOL; talk about polar opposite opinions. I see it this way: Wood is a borderline 3rd/4th liner that can PK and gives you speed and grit plus a little scoring. He isn't everyone's cup of tea but he'll give you a good bottom six option for years.

Montreal says no, probably Buffalo too.
Montreal has more value in Reinbacher, that pick in the top 5-7 range, and whatever the return for Harris will be WHEN we trade him, all of those pieces combined are not worth Power imo.

I don't think the Sabres would be interested in fabbri. At 4 million, he's not cheap, and we have a lot of undersized prospects coming.
