2020-2021 en feu
I just wanted to trade a defensan that is least important for Montreal to spare some cap space. It can be Kulak that is traded instaead, and it can be on another team than Calgary. I just think that if we can get 2 good forward lije Mantha and Dandonov, we could have a very intersting year, finally !

GET IT DONE MARC
I think Bergevin should do it, but only in Florida adds another second round pick (this year or next year) in the deal.

How Montreal should end the season (but It won't happen because Bergevin...)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Billy739</b></div><div>he's got an ironclad 100% NMC meaning unless he thinks he's going to a contender he's going to stay in TBL organisation until he gets one or his contract runs out .
players dont fight for the Full NMC to avoid going to rebuild teams just to go to teams like MTL i'm sorry</div></div>
You make a good point, but If Mtl give him the guaratee they will buy is contract out, I'm sure an arrangement is possible. He would then be free to sign with whoever he wants (even Tampa) for a more decent salary.
If Bergevin wants his team to get better, he has to be creative.

Callahan has 2 more years in his contract and his caphit is 5,8 $ million a year. He has 10 points in 47 game this year. I am sure Tampa would be happy to pay a second round pick to free all that cap space.

Thanks for the comments. They make sense. I made a few change. What do you think now ?

Your right about the Sergachez thing. So I fixed it and offered a 6th round pick in 2019 instead.
Callahan might accept the trade if he is told that is going to be buy out and will then have the chance to go wherever he wants.
What do you think ?</div></div>
I think Callahan would prefer to stay in Tampa and try to win the cup now that he probably has the best chance to get it.</div></div>
Well the trade can be done after the season if he wants a taste of the Stanley Cup, but Yzerman can't afford to keep on his roster a guy like Callahan who has no offensive production and has a cap hit of 5,8 millions $ for two more season.

When all this is done. we need to find a good offensive defenseman to play with Weber.

Il love Gally too. But we have alot of small talented feisty players (a lot !!!) and Gally is the most valuable of them. That's the price to pay for a center like Nugent-Hopkins. We need to keep Gallchenyuk and Patch caus e we don"t have that much player of that kind.

Realistic Habs roster (with a trade)
I would hate to loose Gallagher, but this is a decent and realistic trade that could be interesting. I would go with different line though...
Drouin - Hopkinns - Lekhonen
Pacioretty - -Danault - Galcheynyuk

VERY REALISTIC WINNING TEAM!
A line-up like that would be fun for sure, but the problem is that you get very good player and in return you mainly give a bunch of average stuff that most team are probably not that interested in.
Why Toronto would trade Bozak ( a 55 points center) ?
And if they do, they would want a leats a first round pick for sure.
I don't think a lot of team would be interested in Shaw because of his salary (3,9 millions for a 30 pts winger).
New Jersey is gonna get much better offers than that for Kovalchuk I think.
But I would love to cheer for that team !

Thanks for your comment. You're probably right about the draft picks. I also don't see why the Islanders would want to trade Leddy !
