chabot isnt top 10 rn for sure. theodore > schmidt but thats a small critique. gourde a lil high but i get where youre coming from. forsberg isnt a top 10 LW. meier > debrincat. ROR in the top 10 is weird but i guess its okay. tarasenko is way too high, id say hes on the same level as kane. savard > parayko imo (good job not putting jones). manson is a top 10 RD

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Sebybbq</b></div><div>They are quite comparable you means. The only thing ovechkin do than laine didn’t is hitting. Other wise ovechkin is there for one thing like laine and it’s to score goal. Before barry trotz ovechkin haven’t heard of backchecking. He always pinch is way into offence without any regard of the defensive game. Laine is similar and will fill the net at the same rate if winnipeg decided to play him with scheiffle or find him a true center to olay with him</div></div>
He doesnt play with Scheifele because he would drag him down. Ovi can still drive play and does ok in possession unlike Laine who is below replacement in almost every aspect of the game.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Sebybbq</b></div><div>So ovechkin is bad too, if i follow your logic. Ovechkin doesn’t create takeaways, doesnt have great possession metric, score 20-25 goal a year on powerplay. Does giveaways the puck a lot. I means its the same thing here and no one will say ovi is bot good. The only thing that affect laine game is winnipeg hasn’t gave him a true opportunity with a real number one center</div></div>
youre joking right? Ovi and Laine are not even close to be comparable.

Boston isn't trading Carlo. They wouldn't trade him a few years ago for Landeskog or Duchene and they won't now.
Krug as pretty much all but said that he wouldn't waive to go to EDM, so we can just put that to bed right now.

this is horrendously bad for boston. They aren't in a position where they have to move backes, and if they want to, it shouldn't be that difficult. Guys that are getting scratched in the playoffs typically are willing to waive a limited no trade clause. The real dollars are very small. The bruins also aren't in the position where they're looking to trade core players for first round picks. Cup contenders don't do that. I really like RNH as a player, but why are you looking for a major shake up with the forward group at the expense of the d. One of the major reasons this team is where it's at is their PP. Everything on the PP goes through Krug. Hard no, this is just so bad for the bruins.

Next Year
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>lol want to know what's a worse way to judge a player? freaking corsi. Hey I agree with you for the most part, points are a lousy way to judge a player. Except when you're talking about a certain type of player. The type of player that brings literally nothing to the table other than offensive production....like Eberle. He brings nothing to the table. He is flat out garbage.
Can we agree on a couple things? First, heinen is a much better defensive hockey player than Eberle. That's a no brainer, so i assume we agree on that. Second, Eberle isn't going to find himself any significant powerplay time in Boston. Maybe second unit, maybe on the ice for 20% of bostons powerplay time sound about right? Want to know who had better offensive production 5 on 5? Ya, it was Heinen. If I was sweeney I honestly don't think I'd give that walking turnover without a pulse in clutch moments a PTO.</div></div>
A) He's not using corsi to evaluate a player. If that's what you got out of that, then you're a professional dumbf*ck.
B) Eberle is an excellent offensive player, his offensive CF and xG rates are well above league average.
C) Heinen (using the same metrics that were used to evaluate Eberle) is in fact, slightly below league average offensively. Both his offensive CF and xG rates are slightly below the league average. Eberle has him beat easily on that.
Whichever team signs Eberle (since he had a "down year") will be getting him on a steal of a contract.
