Comparing the tax rates to the United States and Canada, Nylander would significantly earn more from a team within the United States than Toronto, even if Toronto offered him slightly more money.

Uh Panarin, Bobrovsky, Pietrangelo, Gaudreau, and like you said Tavarves. It happens all the time, and I just can't see 5 players being tied up with 10 million-dollar contracts. Nylander is going to the team that offers him the biggest money. Also, good luck believing in Brad when he let Gaudreau walk.

FUTURE
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kyle_Davidson</b></div><div>Just my 2 cents a power forward is almost always the hardest to project through the draft unless they are a top of the draft prospect. It’s much easier to acquire those types through trades (maybe that’s why Kyle D is hoarding picks late in the future). The next priority as you said should be a number 1 RD to take over for Jones. Maybe it’ll work out in 24… I know nothing about that draft.</div></div>
I agree.... About my point about the power foward, I was pretty broad. But Chicago needs to add a top winger prospect. Reichel and Nazar are great prospect but I don't think they'll end up as that top line winger. With that being said, Chicago doesn't have that top forward prospect that has size, physicality, puck chasing abilities to get the puck in hard areas. I'm basically describing Ryan Leonard, whose one of my favorite prospects and the caps are so lucky to have him. But I'd want a prospect like that, even though that really rare. Chicago definitely should address the defense though with there next pick.
2024, I don't know at all too. All I've heard about it, is that it's supposed to be defensive deep.

I don't get it....Benson would've a great pick for Vancouver, It's a week draft class for defensemen and they should've waited next year since it's much deeper.

Good Draft from Chicago
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TMLBRIAN</b></div><div>It's hard to judge since I haven't seen most of these kids play. But on paper, a big head scratcher is Minnesota taking Stramel at 21, instead of Perrault. Perrault dropped 132 pts in 63 games, which was more than his teammates Will Smith and Leonard, who went 4th and 8th. (pts aren't everything of course). Where Stramel only put up 12 pts in 33 NCAA games. Stramel is MASSIVE at 6'3, 222 lbs, but that to me means that he is already in his man body and couldn't produce. I get that he is also a local but that should be a tie breaking factor, not a main factor.
On paper this Minnesota pick doesn't make sense to me. They should have gone with Perrault.
That's my rant of the draft haha</div></div>
See I like the Stramel pick, sure probably not at 21. But Stramel is a good pick for a playoff team. Big physical player that can be a net front presence. In the long run, he's going to be a role player for the wild in the middle 6. He reminds me of a lot of Adam Lowry, and teams need role players like that.

Good Draft from Chicago
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ChiHawk</b></div><div>I like Moore a lot, but would have taken Perreault personally. Perreault and Bedard could be the next McDavid and LD combo. That said, not upset at all with Moore as he's a heck of pick at #19.
I would love to see Cristall tomorrow and also Jayden Perron with one of our other 2nds.</div></div>
I think with pick 35,you have to select the best player available and Cristall has the highest upside of the ones remaining. Make Bedard happy and get his boy.
With the following picks, I think Chicago needs to add size and depth to the Right Side.
So I'd be looking at
Carson Rehkopf
Anton Wahlberg
Danny Nelson
Max Strabek

I'm Guessing Brindley goes to CBJ, But imo Chicago should add size or depth to the RHD.
So I'd be looking at:
Carson Rehkopf
Anton Wahlberg
Maxim Strbak
But Cristall has the best upside of the players available and I take him and make Bedard happy.

I think that's the player Davidson was trying to acquire another 1st for. Would've been a great pick! I think Cristall is there next pick though.

Exactly!!!! Reinbacher has great size with good skating abilities, he knows how to use his body, overall he's a solid two-way defensemen. He's probably going to be a 2nd pairing D, but a very safe pick.

I think Chicago should try to move up into the that 10-15 range, but I would personally target Reinbacher. Man's going to be a stud, huge fan of his game.

Of course it's rigged.... would you rather have Bedard (a generation talent) go to a market like Anaheim or Columbus if your the NHL, no you don't.
