Time for the Sabres to be contenders
I think you did a really good job on this AGM
If the Caps want to contend still, Olofsson at half price would be great for the third line/second PP.
Lyubushkin struggled in BUF, he showed success in TOR so at the price I think SEA takes a chance
The hart deal favors PHI a little and CHI deal slightly favors BUF. It is basically impossible to line up perfect value on deals like those

2C option 3 last one

Enlighten me. Sabres give up 2 young players, one who is a top 4 dman now and soon to be a top pair dman in this league under team control for another decade and 2 good draft picks, for 2 middle 6 players that average 40-50 points, one whos about to be extremely overpaid while approaching 30. Theyre band aids and not even good ones. Domi for Mitts and a 1st with stipulations, that could probably work. But Buffalo has no interest in Gallagher or trading Jokiharju. Buffalo can get similar value in free agency without giving up an asset

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bf3351</b></div><div>Because with those players and that lineup the only high draft pick would be the 2020 pick and it might not even be top 10. Middlestadt isn't proving to be anything special. Joki MIGHT turn into something. Just trying to help the NUF fans win quicker lol</div></div>
Mittelstadt is whatever. Hes been playing well in Rochester. Buffalo hasnt given up on him. But Jokiharju is literally untouchable. To Botterill himself, he is untouchable. Jokiharju straight up for Gallagher is laughable. Thats a massive overpayment and Buffalo would have no interest in it. Even Mitts and a 1st for Domi would be declined. They can easily get better value else where, including just keeping the pick. 0 reason to waste great to untouchable assets on a band aid

ok bub. I'll circle back on this post in about 2 weeks to see how it has aged.

Honestly I like the deal, I think the value is pretty fair, I’m not sure how much leafs fans will like it though since they think Bracco is the second coming, but take it from an unbiased opinion, the value is pretty close

Lol. I mean it's better than what st Louis gave us. Mittelstadt has questions but Thompson blows. And our first will be way better than pick 31. And bogosian and sheary don't have 6 years of cap dumps between them. But yes, Nashville would probably not be interested in moving Johansen for this.

That’s a very hard offer to turn down for Edmonton I’m just not sure if they would part with Kassian. Maybe Khaira? And maybe a 4th instead of a 3rd and 6th.

The other is a rookie who you can expect a drop in production in second half. Not saying he is bad but it happens to every rookie dman.
Picking up a solid top four dman means you don’t have to rush someone back when they get injured and can move someone to left side. We also have scandella who u can switch with bogo</div></div>
John Marino is the second coming of god, how dare you suggest he'd struggle, hes infallible

What is Domi worth
That's a relatively fair offer. There's no chance Domi gets moved IRL though. He is a fan favourite and has been extremely vocal about how much he loves playing in Montreal. It's hard to get players to play in this tough market. When we find someone who is so passionate about being a Hab like Domi, you don't move them.

top 10 centers imo
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BigDog91</b></div><div>Like i said if bergy comes back and plays at elite level then he could be in top five but that being said if falls below a ppg on that top line then he will fall out of the top 50!! Krejci looks like a top 10 center on that line.
The main point is that Eichel has played at different level this year offensively and defensively and deserves to be in at least the conversation of top 5. And matthews being ahead of him is just crazy and only doint that because he was on the leafs. If he played for any other team he would be lucky to make top 10.</div></div>
Fair, I appreciate you being kind and using facts to support your case. I hope Bergy can keep it up, and I love how well Eichel is playing. We just ALL have to work together to make sure the leafs fans chill with being dicks and calling people idiots for not agreeing with their poor opinions lol. Matthews simply isnt even top 7, and thats a fact. Now my opinion is that he isnt even top 10, but thats my opinion

Exactly. I am well aware he is an incredible talent, but your payroll can't stay so lopsided. Outside of Reilly, they have no money left on Defense into next Season. With a bunch of huge Contracts amongst their Forwards. Something has to give.

Trade for kopitar amp Risto to flames
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tkecanuck341</b></div><div>Kopitar trade is pretty terrible. Considering the Kings are rebuilding, they're only going to want futures, and it's going to be a 1st round pick and an A+ prospect along with some B prospects and cap dumps/roster players.
So, start with Buffalo's 2020 1st round pick, add Cozens, Rodrigues, Pilut, and Okposo. If Buffalo needs more short term cap relief, the Kings could take Bogosian, Scandella, and/or Sobotka. Kings would probably have to throw in a roster player or two to stay below the contracts limit, so they'd include Lewis, Ryan, Hutton, and/or LaDue to offset.</div></div>
Lmao. For a 32 year old making 10 million for 5 more seasons? Come on
