Ok I have no alt acc and if I did ever wish to do something like that my favourite team would never be the leafs and 2nd favourite flames.
Anyways I would give up more for Gaudreau but since there’s rumours of him on the block just like the Laine rumours you have to expect deals to be proposed. And you know based on the fact Bergevin has spoken Suzuki kk Romanov are not going anywhere.

The point is don’t bother offering a package for Suzuki cause he’s untouchable. Bergevin won’t trade him for Laine so that should put it in perspective for you

My argument is not that you need Nylander more than you need Suzuki, but you made the outlandish claim that Nylander is not even close to the player Suzuki is, which is stupid</div></div>
I didn’t compare the 2 at all. I compared Suzuki to Barzal. Wait for it. I’ve watched this kid for a long time. When we got him via trade it was a game changer for the Habs. I wasn’t expecting anything from Tatar and the 2nd round pick meant nothing at the time not knowing who it would turn out to be (Norlinder) but I was confident that mtl would be happy letting go of pacioretty for Suzuki in the future

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Alfie11</b></div><div>Anything less than Suzuki or Kotkaniemi plus significant additions from the Habs doesn’t even get the conversation going. Gaudreau was 4th in Hart voting a year ago and is on a steal of a contract for a 100 point threat. Stop with the ridiculous offers including pending UFAs, mid-round picks, and B prospects, none of that is interesting enough to pry an elite playmaker like Gaudreau away from a contending team.</div></div>
Too late deals already done and accepted by one of your own flames fans lol

So what did nylander do for his own team defensively?
Suzuki is our #1 centre now. He’s not going anywhere. Nylander isn’t a need for us he’s a dynamic player and I would’ve wanted him for Domi + but now after this offseason it doesn’t make sense anymore

Suzuki was better in junior than Barzal and will be better In The nhl than Barzal. That’s my projection.

Fair enough. That’s not a deal I would make for mtl tho. Tatar on the other hand is a guy I’d let go. And for Calgary getting him for 4 years at 5 mil is good. Armia is great depth and I could add brook or a pick

Pacioretty comes back to Montreal
Noooo.
Mtl wouldn’t offer a good return for Pacioretty. Not because he isn’t a good player but why go back on a trade you a finally starting to see the upside from in order to highly benefit the other team.
Pacioretty for Edmundson and Tatar 1,000,000 retained.

proper Sharks restructure
Mtl won’t give up Drouin for anything other than a player better than Drouin. They worked hard on getting depth and now that they have it they give away their top LW for picks? LW is our position the we need to improve. Also you’re offering what could be the last 2nd round pick (col) and asking what could be one of the top 3rd round picks(chi)

Taylor Hall would be available next year and a better option also around that price tag. Hoffman is overpaid here. Also Edmundson or Chairot likely gone to Seattle in the expansion draft

I would target Haula instead with a 2 years contract in case Danault go for the moon</div></div>
Yes I agree Tuch is superior. The pick could be higher or a decent prospect involved but it helps Vegas with cap that’s the main reason here.
I don’t have any interest in Haula I’d rather keep Danault for the year and let him walk if we can’t resign him to a bargain. Peohling will be ready to take 3C by than and more importantly Suzuki and Kk will be ready for life without Danault shielding them.
Armia is just starting to hit his untapped potential. He’s not a player that Bergevin will throw away for nothing and I think he would be talking extensions around some point soon if we can’t work out with Tatar and Danault

If that deal presents itself it’s a sure bet mtl would take it I think. We would have to move kulak and Weal which are both doable. I think Kulaks contract is easy to move and Weal could be sent to the minors or just cost a late pick to unload.

I would have a little more faith in Peohling than this projection. If we resign Danault than Peohling should be converted to LW and I would hope crack top 9

Also, I wouldn’t touch Hoffman at $5.5M by 2 years.</div></div>
The contract was easy enough to fit. Not saying that’s what we should pay him but we easily could. And to say he’d rather be a top line guy over playing on a deep team isn’t likely true. Ya he probably wants to play but he’d definitely be on the 1st pp unit and be on a winning team which is more than he had in Florida.

This is the part of me that you never ever gonna take away from me
I think Florida should realize very quickly that it’s time to blow it up now after seeing how average the team was already before a bunch of their solid players just left. This is a good package. Last thing Florida should do is waste another 3 years as pretenders. Although they shouldn't be in a major rush to take the first deal offered
