Beta will go live tonight or tomorrow. The settings gear in the top right will change from "Coming soon" to a toggle.
If you use macOS or Windows 10 (and soon iOS with iOS 13), you can set it to automatically use your operating system theme settings, if your computer/phone/tablet is set to dark mode, and you are using Firefox or Safari, it will automatically detect it an update. Chrome is coming in a future version.

I'd just like to thank everyone for such an awesome season. I've had a great time playing the GM Game these past three seasons, but I'm sad to announce that having achieved my life goal of leading the Vancouver Canucks all the way to the Stanley Cup, I will be stepping down from the GM Game. I'll be sticking around on Twitter and I'm happy to give advice to anyone who wants it.

Especially for any GMs that created a page after May 19th, 2018 make sure you're not missing any picks that may have been traded by the team IRL or forgot to add when copying your team. And please for the love of everything holy and sacred, do not, and I cannot stress this enough, <strong>DO NOT CREATE A NEW PAGE WITHOUT THE TRADES FROM THE PREVIOUS PAGE AND OPT TO JUST ADD AND REMOVE ASSETS RANDOMLY</strong>. This is literally how 90% of picks and other assets are lost.

If any picks are still missing by the draft, they will simply be skipped.

<strong>Boston Bruins vs Washington Capitals</strong>
Caps and Bruins. Two powerhouse teams that came into this matchup with cup aspirations and they left it all on the ice. The Caps took the first two games on the road and never looked back in this one. What a performance by Caps’ netminder Braden Holtby. He stole the show and pushed the defending champs one step closer to consecutive Stanley Cups.

<strong>Philadelphia Flyers vs Toronto Maple Leafs</strong>
Tight matchup with the winner here moving on to the Eastern Conference Finals. The Flyers had the edge on the offensive side of the puck in this one, and ultimately some timely scoring on the power play led them to a convincing series win over the Maple Leafs. Philly clinched the series in front of the home crowd at the Wells Fargo Center, and despite the noise, you could still hear Claude Giroux cooing like a pigeon at JVR.

<strong>St. Louis Blues vs Dallas Stars</strong>
This was the tightest voting matchup that we’ve seen in the V3 playoffs. The voting ended at 25.5 to 24.5 – Dallas had the edge in net and on the PP and St. Louis was judged to have a slight advantage with their skaters outside of the crease. The Stars stole the first two games in STL and had the Blues on the ropes after a decisive Game 3 victory back in Dallas. But the pesky Blues roared back and took the last 4 games to pull off a reverse sweep. Series MVP – Vladimir Tarasenko, who was quoted as saying "is just game why you heff to be mad?".
<em>Winner: Blues in 7 (L-L-L-W-W-W-W)</em>

<strong>Vancouver Canucks vs Vegas Golden Knights</strong>
Both of these teams were at the top of their games going into this one. The Canucks and the Knights both swept their round one opponents and were getting used to the whole “winning” thing. Vancouver won their games at home (with timely goals from the ludicrous “Brock LandesDrai” top line), split on the road, and came back to BC where they clinched a berth in the western conference finals. Unfortunately for the Knights, they will not be returning to the SCF this year (and no, there were no major penalties called in this simulation).

As it is time for another round of BOG voting, I would like to remind everybody that 1 of the candidates (I won’t say who for their own protection) was previously voted in but then removed because she wasn’t very good at it. Since then she went on a murderous rampage because I refused to do something she wanted me to (won’t say what it was because I don’t want to be fined anymore picks while she gets away free).


Because of this I want everybody to Vote for Gronk because he seems like a swell guy who won’t try and get you kicked out when you don’t do what he wants</div></div>

The Raanta trade will be corrected by sending the PHI 2019 2nd which was supposed to be on BUF, rather than the MIN 2019 2nd</div></div>

Just so this stays out of the News thread I'll put my response here.

I am in favor of the above solution to the draft pick situation regarding the MIN 2nd.
Let me know either here or Twitter if the BOG accepts this and inform me to go ahead and replace the pick on my team page.

Remove MIN 2nd
Replace with PHI 2nd
**maybe as a bonus for not arguing or questioning this, perhaps you'll grant me that 7th rd pick that was forfieted by some team for being non compliant to the rules a while back :) :)
