If Boeser, Goldobin and Juolevi earn spots out of camp...
I mean , that lineup is not bad but Montreal says no to this trade.

Max Pacioretty's value
I understand that some of the trades are not that good but at least try to be positive and give me some advices to help me fix these trades. By the way, thank you mz1 for helping me fix this trade.

Distributing the skill
The Pittsburgh Penguins won two consecutive Stanley Cups with a rookie in net and a normal defense. The main reason they won was because of their offense. When the Kessel trade happened, many people wanted him to play with Crosby or Malkin. But instead of putting all of their superstars on the same line, they distributed the skill on three lines and they had rookies and good veterans play alongside them. I'm aware that Pacioretty, Galchenyuk and Drouin are not as good as Crosby, Malkin and Kessel but it's a great strategy that worked for a team that won the Stanley Cup. Our offense would be dangerous in every shift, even our fourth line isn't looking bad at all. The Penguins won the Stanley Cup last year without Kristopher Letang, their best defensemen who was injured during the playoffs and their defense without Letang is quite ordinary. We have Shea Weber, Karl Alzner, Jeff Petry and some other solide defenseman. We also have the best goalie in the NHL, Carey Price, who is in his prime. I could actually see it working for us and we could even make it to the Easten Conference Finals. Our team is actually pretty good.

Changed the trade for Athanasiou. Is it more realistic now?

Interesting trade that doesn't cost us a lot
Thanks for reviewing my trade, buddy! But McCarron will be at best a 3C and Scherbak has the abilities and the skill to become a top 6 player.

THE WORST TRADES EVER
The Montreal trade is an absolute steal for Pittsburgh. They get Daniel "The Greatest of all time" Carr and Jordie " Zamboni" Benn for only Sidney "The Kid" Crosby and Carl " I can only skate" Hagelin? That trade would make them win 1439876056 Stanley Cups in a row.

And Montreal gets Matt Duchesne and Donald John Trump( whose salary is 5,000,000,000). What a steal for Montreal! And we didn't even have to give up our secret weapon, the Montreal poutine!

I really like those players. If I'm Marc Bergevin, the players in this list I would be more interested in would be: Josh Ho-Sang, Jonathan Marchessault and Kaiser Yamamoto. They're all great players with a low cap hit.
