Kadri for Dvorak
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>HOCKEYBOY448</b></div><div>I think Arizona would want young guys and picks not Kadri who is already 30. They’re rebuilding not contending.</div></div>
Kadri would be flipped at trade deadline (with or without retention) for likely two 2nds or a 1st. So haul for Arizona would essentially be two 2nds/1st, 3rd, and Bowers for Dvorak
Other places I’ve seen Dvorak get a 2nd and a good prospect, think that beats that offer. Main issue is if Kadri will waive to play in Arizona for a couple months and then be flipped to a playoff team

I think so, if someone can find a fit for him. Put him with one or two snipers on his wing and I think he can put up numbers again. Really like his skating and puck handling
Can roll a top heavy top six if need be with Landeskog, MacKinnon, Rantanen and Saad, Wennberg, Burakovsky. If Bednar wants to shake that up too can do an all Swede line and put Saad back on top LW

I think in that division yeah, probably not going to be competitive and should do a rebuild. But wouldn’t underestimate how desperate GMs are to keep their jobs. Could see them looking at another big trade or a high end free agent

I agree but price for Ekholm is going to be steep due to his cap hit and flat cap. That and he is only a rental as he has a year left. Girard played RD most of this season so if they want to keep him there, will need a shutdown LD to pair with him

Going to have to disagree as long as Ullmark plays well and Kadri doesn’t get himself suspended again. Fourth line is better, McGinn good fit for Avs system, and much improved defense

Panik for Sorensen
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AllCaps_BestTeam</b></div><div>Right when I read "DIllon Sucks, Schultz is good" I stopped reading. That is a pretty interesting analysis bud</div></div>
Schultz was very good before his injuries last two seasons.. stop with the recency bias or bias against Pittsburgh. If he’s healthy he’s much better than Dillon. The Caps are assuming he’s healthy or he wouldn’t get paid $4 million over two seasons when there is a flat cap.
Dillon is slow, takes bad penalties, does nothing offensively, doesn’t fit well with Carlson. That pair is extremely slow and can be abused too. There is a reason we saw Barzal fly past them for the GWG in playoffs. Just because he’s somewhat good defensively doesn’t mean > Schultz. I like what Schultz brings all around and a healthy Schultz I take over Dillon any day of the week. The problem is that Schultz doesn’t pair well with Orlov as he’s an offensively minded dman. Orlov needs a stay at home RHD like a Tanev or a Niskanen.
Dillon-Schultz could be a good pair but I doubt we see much of it unless Carlson goes down. As of now,
Dillon doesn’t fit with Carlson and Orlov doesn’t fit with Schultz. It wasn’t smart acquisitions by GMBM and if he trades someone like Panik and doesn’t get a legit replacement our bottom six is garbage. If he trades Jensen we have to play TVR most games which isn’t ideal. He got benched over Gardiner for a reason. He’s not as good as some make him out to be

With our bottom six and defense right now.. not happening. Dillon sucks, Schultz is good but probably not a good fit with Orlov as they both struggle defensively Mx Also who knows how well Samsonov is going to be after his major injury
I think right now it’s PHI/CBJ as the playoff locks and everyone else is up in the air.

Sorensen isn’t that good lol.. Panik when he’s on is like a Janmark or Jarnkrok. He’s a fine third liner and can play either side
I think Panik and a 4th for a player that walks next year is a good fit for both teams.

Not interested in moving Jensen. TVR is strictly a depth option unless Jensen struggles, but looked really good late last season
We also don’t have any RHD in Hershey so that forces us to play a dman on off side

He has never said anything of the sort of what you’re saying (all and all caps dumps have to be 2nd or higher). If he somehow holds that opinion which I highly highly doubt since it’s so off base, no one is trading with Detroit. 30 other GMs laughing at that

This is a pass all day from the red wings unless there is a 2nd involved. Trade him to a playoff team my man, wings will not take him at this time. I've heard yzerman, you did not. We aren't in the market for this type of player and won't take cap trades for free</div></div>
Dude what are you talking about? Lol
I’m saying that if Maatta was traded to Detroit you would expect a 2nd or 3rd? He was traded for an ECHLer. Not every cap dump will be that high of a pick. Yzerman did NOT say that you’re twisting his words.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>buffbry</b></div><div>Correct, preds want to dump salary which means you are giving us a 2nd to take the cap dump, I can care less what his value is to you or to other teams, to the red wings it's 4+ million dollars of free cap space in a flat cap and cost cutting year. We will not accept this deal without a 2nd. If you want value for this player then you are free to trade him to a playoff team or a team that is fighting for the playoffs. If you are trading him to the wings and are dead set on it, then it comes with a price.
This is what people don't understand, trade these guys to a playoff team where it makes sense for his value, yzerman is only accepting these types of moves with major picks and prospects coming back, via his interview legit 2 days ago. Go take a listen bud, then you can trade bonino elsewhere or give us a 2nd. As of now this is a decline</div></div>
Lol if you expect every dump to Detroit to return a 2nd regardless of the player you’re not going to make another trade. Good luck finding any team in the league that will accept that for a player that is actually good. A fourth is not nothing and Bonino is a good player where the Red Wings have zero center depth.
Guess you thought Maatta should’ve got a 2nd today. Embarrassing

LOL
You aren’t getting a 2nd for Bonino. No way. He’s nowhere as close to as bad as Staal. Bonino is still a very good bottom six center. Staal is one of the worst overall players in the league. You’d be lucky to get the 4th.. realistically a 5th is fair value but Preds want to clear cap (assuming to add a big name)
That’s insane if you legitimately think that you can get a second lol. Thanks for the laugh
