Serious question. If this is what MIN could get for Dumba, why would they let him go for free?

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BrodinCheerD</b></div><div>This offer does nothing for wild unless it's a 1st round pick. Greenway has way way more value to wild. Him, foligno, ek line are why wild won today
Greenway keeping the puck in the zone with his body, foligno clearing the zone, then getting puck to Joel Eriksson Ek for the win
Bovquist, respectfully I am wouldn't/ isn't better than that rookie c who had 11 goal to finish Season in nico sturm. 2 of 4 wild c spots are taken by Joel Eriksson Ek, & nick
Then wild have top c prospects in Marco Rossi, marat Khusnutdinov, & Alexander khovanov
Then two 1st round pick in 2021
Not sure where bovquist fits. Wild will ask for 2021, or 2022 1st round pick</div></div>
Ek is a stud. Greenway is a banger. That line reminds me a LOT of the Maroon-Bozak-Thomas line. Thomas and Ek are the high end talent that makes the line dangerous. Bozak and Foligno are the vets. Maroon and Greenway are the bangers. Greenway is riding some inflated numbers, but imo Ek is the only one on that line with high end value. Greenway isn’t worth a first. Especially from NJ who should be drafting in the top ten for another year or two. And Minnesota shouldn’t be taking any less than a first because he’s more valuable to them on that line. If that makes sense lol

Boldy not that enticing?
Why would Wild add JEE? You don't fill a hole by making a hole. Eichel may be a top 5 center but he has a weird neck injury that he wants a experimental surgery to fix. Every GM will approach that cautiously. Best center Wild will give up is Rossi.

What's weird is that the NYI pick could be the best 1st of MN, NYI, and PIT. Before the season I would have picked it as the worst of MN, NYI, and PIT 1sts.

You're pathetic thinking MIN has a thousand better wingers than Drouin. Like c'mon dude. You have a few good players but beside them your forward group is trash. Getting a decent 1st C and they might be interesting to watch but.... Yo Rask was a big dumb cap trash last season. Things haven't changed. Win something and we'll be able to talk man to man properly. There is a reason Drouin was drafted 3rd overall. Does he have skills? Plenty! He's he lacking something? Definitely. Does that means he's bad? No human is perfect dude.</div></div>
Yak was drafted 1oa, Bennett 4oa, Dal Colle 5oa, Chucky 3oa, G.Reinhart 4oa; that's just +/- 1 draft year. Draft position means nothing when it's so far removed from their draft year. It's a fallback people use when trying to prop up a bad asset.
Rask is garbage, most MN fans will tell you that. Drouin has an unsustainably bad s% this year; that should rebound next year. He can still make passes, but he's overpaid for what he is as a player: .5ppg o-zone winger.

I figure the Wild protect 4 & 4 in the expansion draft and wouldn't want to lose Soucy for nothing. If the trade doesn't work, that's fine. There are other teams (COL, TB) that Ottawa can target for a Dman.

Yeah I agree if rumors are true that Guerin didn't want Monahan then it is hard to see him being interested in Strome.
I can't judge Strome based on points, he is on a bad team. I know they are playing well in playoff position, but they aren't good, great young goalie though.
I'll say this Strome has always underwhelmed, he is still young but it's time to put it together. In that way Greenway might be paying too much for Strome. So I totally get your argument.

This would be a terrible trade for the wild. You do realize JG has 19 points in 26 games(I know 19 points in the North division is nothing considering they play no defense, but 19 in the west is nothing to scoff at)? And also is signed through next year at 2.1m with RFA rights??

Ovechkin new contract
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Capitalfail67</b></div><div>its important to understand you arent BG and that you are basing YOUR opinion off of other peoples opinion about a player you know very very little about. So to use your example if.... if there is a rare pair of shoes...lets say a shoe that is never available but just this one time you could get a shoe that would drastically change the direction of your life...maybe buy the shoe. like a shoe that carried a person to a cup and won it lmfao ... something thats never happened in a long long long time</div></div>
You just described a Jack Eichel or Nathan MacKinnon shoe. You don't have that shoe in stock.
I'm also basing what I think Guerin's opinion would be here on what Guerin has said publicly, and his actions as the GM. And I'm basing my opinion on Kuznetsov off of all the information I have available to me, not just one person's opinion. Both are valid, both have merit. And the conclusion, combining them, is that your deal isn't realistic. And there are several reasons for that, and I've explained them all, and you're still trying very hard to convince me that I'm wrong, and you've done a very poor job of it.
I'm not going to ignore all the facts at my disposal just to pretend that your deal has any traction. So I'm going to take this opportunity to move on.

Khaira, I believe has spent even time between LW and C for the Oilers. I guess I only added him to the trade to give Oilers cap space for the trade and to give the Wild a body with NHL experience.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BrodinCheerD</b></div><div>I completely understand where you are coming from.
My argument for bonino are since dean figured out he should play on 3rd-4th line c, he's been himself especially defensively on PK. Do you know if wild have any c that could play 4c? Maybe sturm? But , with wild dead set on playoffs, & fixing lockeroom division, really hard for me to see wild trading bonino
Not sure of exact numbers but wild pk is like around 90 percent, or higher?
As for Rask, him having 1 year left I think should be better for wild to keep. Fiala, & kaprrizov are going to take large amounts of cap room if their play continues like this</div></div>
Can't argue with anything you have said. I've just seen too many offensive opportunitys where Bonino just messes the whole thing up. I really want Dean to give Sturm a bigger opportunity at center so I am happy to move Bonino.

It's also been made clear Guerin isn't taking on any long term contract.
There's no good reason for wild to trade greenway whose one of wild young players with kaprrizov leading wild in points for Filip Forsberg who has been bad dating back to last season, & is a free agent. This is giving wi li d another headache they don't need. Jordan greenway is currently better, & cheaper.
As for bonino, he's been really good lately playing on 3c/ 4c. Why are wild trading a c in bonino for bottom winger?
Wild are better keeping marcus Johnson, victor rask, & Jordan greenway</div></div>
I am still not impressed with Bonino. I think Forsberg would be better with a better team. The cap issues I've created here I have no argument for, other than, most the pieces I've aquired have value and can be traded away in the off season for hopefully draft picks and prospects.
