Next Year Signing Scheifele
The cap will most likely go up by 4 million and instead of Scheifele, you could have Lindholm if he doesn’t re-sign with Calgary!

I’m curious as to why you infused youth into every forward line but kept them out of the 3rd defence line?

Their centre depth will not keep up with Buffalo, Florida or Ottawa</div></div>

It’s not that much better if at all. And I’d take the offence of Buffalo and Ottawa over Boston very easily</div></div>

I like both Power and Sanderson over Lindholm this year. Both those guys are gonna have massive breakout years.
McAvoy is the best one on the list but I bet Dahlin probably equals him this year or passes him. Chabot won’t be equal to either but I bet he rebounds from his down year and has a massive year</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AlTintin1122</b></div><div>Zub is literally like 93 percentile defensively and constantly faces top lines. Carlo plays behind McAvoy and isn’t even as good defensively. Same with Samuelsson who played on the top pair. Carlo does not</div></div>
Yes...that's it!! Keep doubting the Bruins! Count them out every chance you get! Just like you probably did last year!!

That’s it, keep counting the Bruins out. Just like everyone did last year. But this year, blame it on the lack of centre depth and not injuries.

True. I saw this trade proposal in an ACGM for this year and just expanded on it for next year if the cap doesn't significantly rise.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LPProductions</b></div><div>Yea I was off on one top-6 F. I did say they would likely sign a #1C next year and I think the re-sign Debrusk. Gives you a top-6 of Marchy, Pasta, FA 1C, Debrusk, Zacha and probably Merkulov/Lysell. Maybe Geekie really impresses?
Lindholm has been excellent since he's gotten to Boston, not sure there's much that has shown he'll take a significant step back next season. Small one? Maybe, just because his play was so elite last year. I still consider him a top 15-20 guy in the league. You can find pieces to fit in a dcore with Lindholm, Mcavoy and Carlo; it will still be one of the stronger units in the league. Guessing we see Lohrei a good bit in two years.</div></div>
I completely agree! What people forget is the ‘Monty’ factor. One year coaching this team and took them to the best record ever in the NHL. The playoff failure is stuck in his craw and he’s gonna get the best out of his squad AGAIN and exceed expectations. Then he’s gonna learn from his mistakes and make a statement in the playoffs. And with a little help from Sweeney at the TDL, they’ll get a some depth (maybe even bring Bertuzzi back again if the Leafs collapse LOL) and make a heavy push! People have been reminding Bruins fans how bad their prospect pool is SO MUCH, that there’s bound to be a surprise or two from some of them as well this season.

Make the playoffs
They already will make the playoffs with the current roster. None of this is necessary. If anything, I would wait until the trade deadline and try to deal Forbort to add a goal scorer or depth center if needed. Carlo is more valuable to the Bruins than Bennett, Coyle won’t waive and will most likely surprise us all.

Poor Boston
Why would Frederic sign for less? Does he regress? Swayman will make more. Zacha will most likely play center and by then may have proven to be a top 6. DeBrusk probably signs somewhere else for more especially if he can prove he can score without Bergeron. Doing future ACGMs is quite difficult but I give this one a C+. Nice effort.

24-25 Boston UFA market 1st try
Tough to say who’s going to need a goalie by next season and whether Ullmark would want to go to a Canadian team. I also don’t think Swayman and DeBrusk will get that much if they don’t have stellar seasons. Swayman would have to take over the number one spot and DeBrusk would have to exceed his goal/assist numbers from last year which may be tough without Bergeron. Hanafin may take a little less to be in Boston but Lindholms number seems close as of right now.

Feedback from Bruins fans requested
Value wise, it seems fair. I’m just not sure Boston would part with Carlo just yet and the tandem of Ullmark and Swayman will be much needed (along with the current defence) with the lack of center depth and scoring. The Bruins are in ‘wait and see’ mode with additions they just made. Unless some blockbuster happens, I can’t see them doing anything until the TDL.

The ship has sailed on getting a bonafide top center for the beginning of this season. Maybe one can be traded for at the TDL. Some the current centers may surprise us this year. I’m looking to Zacha and Coyle to make strides towards being much better with Bergeron gone. Geekie may also be a pleasant surprise!

Right??? I harken back to the beginning of last season when we were written off due to injuries. We all know how THAT turned out! Losing Bergeron will be tough but IMO, Krejci didn’t make that much of a difference. I’m happy to wait and see what Zacha, Coyle, Geekie, Boqvist, Frederic and even Brown are capable of at the center position.

What about taking a chance in Jonathan Toews, Paul Stasny or even Ryan Dzingel for a cheap one year ‘center depth’ type deal? It depends on Swayman and Frederic’s arbitration hearings but there might be room!

I doubt it! Samsonov got 3.55 million as a back up to a perpetually injured Murray after playing over half the regular season games and 9 playoff games. Swayman played 37 regular season games and 2 playoff games behind the Vezina winning Ullmark. Very close GAA and SV%. I think an arbitrator would take this into consideration as a comparable, no??

Hear me out
With a title like 'Hear Me Out' I was expecting an explanation and this ACGM drastically warrants one. Not enough for Swayman. I'm willing to bet if he gets to arbitration it will be between 2.8 and 3.3 million. Frederic probably gets awarded 1.5 to 2 million. Ullmark doesn't waive for Winnipeg and Sheifele isn't a fit in Boston.

Take out Carlo and DeBrusk, Boston adds a 4th and then they might possibly consider thinking about maybe wondering if they accept if Winnipeg retains one third his salary.
