Although the proposition of MTL losing their 4 best players would be fun to see.

Fair, I figured it might be a little low, that might be an issue irl :(

Its always possible he goes elsewhere for more money, but theoretically he could end up in Boston for a discount because of how well liked he is an how well they treat him... but also Detroit cuz of a hometown boy...

I like him and as a bruins fan I want him to be worth more (But cost less obviously) ... but looking realistically, people have seen him drop to a solid top 6 forward, but not an elite forward, especially with how he has played so streaky in the past. We are both big bruins fans, but gotta also look from an outside pov

Seconded. I think everyone agrees with this. It’s not just the frequency, it’s that you’ll post the same idea over and over and over again.

i think ritchie cant play with krecji. I think its just 2 different play styles that wont gel. i like the 3rd line tonight. i think they end up being the difference maker.

You can use all the stupid acronyms you want. A coach isn’t setting a playoff lineup with an eighth of the season remaining

Yea they can alternate between cellery and kuhlma, and if neither look comfortable in the playoffs, you can put in nordstrom or acciari. We have a lot of options

LA Uber Alles
So assuming the penguins win the cup.... and this is a great possibility even before this trade considering they won 2 in the last 3 years. The kings will receive 2 1st round picks for a 45-50 point guy who is 35 years old and signed for 2 more years at 6.25m?
I hope with everything the penguins make this trade only bc I hate them and this would be a terrible move and would almost guarantee they don’t win the cup ever again during the Sid gene era

Krug is the most valuable and most tradeable asset BOS has. Removing Krug from the backend actually improves the D quality in the Bruins own end. People get hung up on Krug's point production, and it is impressive. But, because Krug is a quality player, BOS can expect a quality return. Adding a point producing winger starts to balance out the scoring between the top two lines. I don't think BOS makes it out of the first round with their current scoring distribution. They might not even get into the playoffs. By adding a winger to the second line you improve the output of DK46 as well. Krug also has a team friendly deal at the moment, so any team taking him on is not getting solely a rental, nor are they getting a player who is a cap albatross. BOS is not going to have the cap space to resign Krug at the number he will command after next off season because of the young guys who will be coming due.
That's my opinion.
