High risk high reward
The Bruins would not move out 3 serviceable players for 4 unserviceable ones.

Not Serious
Moving someone like McAvoy, a top-5 d-man in the league on an under market-value contract long term, costs someone of equal magnitude. Pettersson and Hughes are your most comparable. It would take one of them to move a Chuckie. Given the Bruins situation at C, I'll let you draw the line to which the Bruins would prefer.

Good not to overreact. If the Bruins began their downfall when people started saying they'd suck, they would have gone into a rebuild five years ago.

Gotta imagine the Bruins accept. The guy that said he'd rather have Bussi sees every Bruin as holier-than-thou and sees no justification for ever trading a Bruin. Ever.

Not really. Bruins have been a perennial cup contender for well over a decade. I don't forsee them falling that far off. Every other team wants them to, but there's far too much talent on the roster for them to be a bad team.

Devils have been down so long and have finally set themselves up to be a powerhouse for years, so I don't even mind when their fans poke minor fun at the Bruins. Lol

NYI gets debrusk and storms the metro
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kyle_Okposo_Lover</b></div><div>Debrusk had 23 expected goals and his team has lost their 1C, and probably Krejci as well, weakening that forward group quite a lot.
He is not good. He is replaceable. Anthony Duclair is better than him and look what he got. He can be a part of a package, but you aint getting anything signifigant if hes the main piece.
And for the record, centers have way more value than wingers, and Pageau only had 3 less expected goals than Debrusk... one is due for positive regression and the other is due for negative. Not saying the Bs do this but its not like Debrusk is way better than Pageau.</div></div>
DeBrusk is far better than Pageau. Losing a 1C can negatively impact any winger, so a regression to the mean is predictable, but to say DeBrusk isn't good is ludicrous, if not downright troll level.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kyle_Okposo_Lover</b></div><div>Good thing Boston fans arent GMs cuz 1Cs dont come in return for 20 goal scorers... He overachieved is all analytics show he will regress this year, especially without Bergeron on the team to bolster the center core and special teams. Not saying they do this but they aint getting close to a 1C in return</div></div>
Right, because he'd be apart of a package for 1C in a hypothetical trade. The Jets or Flames aren't giving up Chef or Lindholm for DeBrusk straight up. No Bruins fan has argued that. You Isles fans sure love to try and justify JGP for JD tho. A guy that scored three 5-on-5 goals last year is a pure cap dump and certainly doesn't net a guy that scored 18 5-on5 goals.

I understand those players have value, it's just not what the Bruins would trade Ullmark to obtain. If they trade Ullmark they keep Swayman long term and don't need VV. The organizational depth at RHD is immense, negating the value of Casey.

It's not enough to trade Ullmark. That's essentially giving away an asset at an extremely discounted rate for no reason.

You believe it's perfectly reasonable because your perception of reality is skewed. Why would Boston trade Ullmark for another goalie? It makes no sense. A 2nd is okay in the package, but the prospect coming back doesn't even move the needle.

No, he wouldn't. And him in the deal is fine, it's more like Vanecek and the 3rd that are lackluster. Plus, the Bruins are incredibly deep at RD. They don't need another one for their future in net.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kyle_Okposo_Lover</b></div><div>He was given minimal opportunity
And this isnt an argument saying he is a god, hes a low 2C or high end 3C, getting traded for a 20-25 goal scorer in Debrusk. Duclair got a 5th and 13F, they produced in a similar clip. Now, Debrusk is better, but why is he worth way more than this lol? Maybe he could get a 2nd. You really wanna package him and a 1st or Lysell for Schiefele? Or Debrusk and a 2nd for Backlund? I mean come on</div></div>
I don't think they should trade him at all. If they did I'd be more okay with him going for Scheifele because he's a true number 1 center. I wouldn't want Backlund at all because he's a low-end 2C at best. IMO the only way DeBrusk gets traded is if he's packaged for Lindholm, Scheifele, or another center of that caliber.

Go out and rank every center in the NHL right now and youll see hes in that range too
PLUS Pageau has much better analytics over the past 3 years in the two stats he used, plus has produced more on less time. IDK how this is even a debate.
Pageau is getting paid market value and there are very few centers available. Im not saying he gets a 1st+++, just a 20-25 goal scorer lol.
Duclair got what? A 5th? Hes a similar player on a better deal and got THAT.</div></div>
You're too far gone. If you really think JGP is that good of a player idk how to help you. He had 3 5-on-5 goals last year... You didn't build a forward group for the Bruins with this trade in place. It makes no sense for them.

Give me a projected forward group for the Bruins if they make that trade. Do you see any flaw with your logic yet? You're not playing 4D chess here against the rest of us. One of your comments claimed JGP=2nd, waiver wire bait Salo=4th/5th and DeBrusk isn't worth more than that. Even if DeBrusk=2nd+4th/5th, your value for the proposed players is incredibly wrong. Isles wouldn't get a 2nd for Pageau from anyone. Taylor Hall only netted two fringe d-men prospects. Do better.
