Playoff run
I donn’t like this at all. Debrusk/Grizz/Merk/ 4 picks to “upgrade”, highly questionable, to Ferraro/Henrique? No thsnkd.
What’s in it for Ducks?
B’s fans have to stop this nonsense that selling teams want expiring contracts back as primary assets. Does not work that way.
Move Grizz/Debrusk in separate deals for futures to buyers to clear space then make your trades.

Yeah I’m sure the bruins have no problem giving up Carlo for Bert as a rental again after he didn’t re-up with them last time. Seems like a very Boston thing to do…

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kyle_Okposo_Lover</b></div><div>Bussi is 25. He has a fun name but truthfully he is a nobody. Coyle has negative value. Frederic is so easily replaceable.
Lmao come on, buddy.</div></div>
Wrong - Coyle is not negative value. Not to Boston anyway. If you watch him play every night and don’t appreciate what he brings night in and night out you don’t understand hockey. Clearly you just look at points and $. He’s their best defensive center. Lead all their FWDs in PK ice time. Strong with and on the puck. Over 50% at the dot. Needs to shoot more.
Wrong - Bussi should be in the NHL he’s just blocked. #2 in AHL last year. His first year as a pro.
Had shutout in pre season. Opened season with 40 save game.
Correct - Forbort is easily replaced. Sort of. If they moved him they have nobody that does what he does. Eats dirty minutes, stay at home D, blocks shots, kills penalties, cuts down wear and tear on top guys so they do not have to. Grizz, Zboril, Shatty, Mitchell not doing that. They still should move him if they need the cap space. But 1.5m of space is not worth a 3rd and Bussi. Not even worth the 3rd.

Unfortunately keeping Panarin
That doesn't seem like a good trade for Boston to make. Goodrow's contract is not good (i.e., as an asset he has negative value unless he plugs a true need on a contender), Dobber has those prospects trending as low-end NHL regulars (i.e., they are only worth lower-end picks at this time), and I think the Bruins would see Trocheck as more of a consolation prize 2C than as a true top 6 C target. I think the Bruins would rather hold onto their 1st round picks for a bigger fish or try to draft their way out of their center mess.

Gotta ask, why did OTT trade for Jakob Chychrun. Are they planning on paying 3 LD over 7+ million.

I feel like the AAV is a bit much. I know it's only starting a year from now, but twice the league minimum for a goalie with only 12 NHL games doesnt sound so right

Weird contract. Shouldn't be much more than NHL Minimum. He was a fringe AHL starter last year and wasn't impressive in his few NHL games this year.
