Zboril has be brutal as of late. Neither him or Lauzon has been good, but between the two of them, Lauzon has been better.

"Ideally, we shouldn't be looking to our defensemen to provide offense" Welcome to the 2021 NHL, where defensemen need to help the forwards to score so if your defensemen can provide offense, you're in good position.
"the forwards have just been that bad" That's just wrong. Some of them have underperformed but most of them are good players.</div></div>
Don't know what games you've been watching, but everyone except Marchand, Bergeron, Pastrnak, Ritchie, and Frederic have underperfomred drastically. Yes they are good, but they haven't done a thing this year.

Lauzon can move the puck, he just needs more of a green light to get more engaged in the offense. Ideally, we shouldn't be looking to our defensemen to provide offense, the forwards have just been that bad.

He's all yours. It's not gonna work out with him here. The injuries are really unfortunate, but the B's also have depth at RW, so he's gone.

Kuhlman pushes play and given the right opportunity will be a good bottom 6RW. He’s likely the fill in for Wagner on the 4th line on the Bruins. He doesn’t finish well but does everything else really well. He’s also not had a ton of development time, which is why I’d say his ceiling Is likely 3RW. Bruins tried him elsewhere and the finish isn’t there. Can be developed probably. He would be good for Buffalo because he doesn’t play like an entitled B***ch. ;)</div></div>
I'm more than fine with giving up a 1st for Hall. If he can return to any sort of resemblance to his MVP form, its a win for the B's. Kuhlman is a great depth forward yes, but he is expendable and I'd move him in a heartbeat for Hall.

Not really. You put Hjalmarsson with McAvoy. Zboril/Lauzon are on different pairings so Hjalmarsson can't cover defensively. As I said, we need a good two-way D that can help offensively and defensively.</div></div>
Zboril wont even be playing. So Miller covers for Lauzon and he can join the play. Ta da. There also aren't a lot of TWD that are available, so Hjalmarsson really would be ideal.

I disagree. We need help on the back end, but what we dont need is someone that is going to join the play and leave one of our young dmen exposed. Getting Hjalmarsson would allow guys like Zboril and Lauzon to step up and make more plays, knowing that Hjalmarsson can cover defensively.

I don't know what games you've been watching, but Lauzon and Zboril both have been really rough in the defensive zone, more Zboril. Hjalmarsson is an upgrade over both of them and would immediately help the back end. He'd allow for more of the younger guys to go and play more up and in the play.

Not taking a shot at Rakell and he's a good player, it's more about the Bruins (ineffective offensive system). Most of the middle-six players struggle at some point in their Bruins' tenure because of that and Rakell is a middle-six player so I'm not sure he would produce as much or more in Boston, that's what I'm trying to say.</div></div>
There has been absolutely no consistency in the middle 6 lines this year with Covid and injuries. Rakell would finally give Krejci that elite playmaker that he's been lacking for years, and the #2 PP unit would be so much better. Rakell would probably have way more than 22 points.

Hall having any salary retained doesn't really matter since he's a UFA at the end of the year and I doubt Buffalo is going make any major changes in which they'd need that space. DeBrusk still has a high ceiling and potential, just needs a change of scenery, so he has lots of value.

Rakell brings speed and strong play making. Hall also has speed and scoring. We need a shut down dman and a veteran presence and Hjalmarsson would be perfect there. He'd be much more effective with McAvoy, would allow him go play in an even more offensive role.

Thats the feeling I'm getting as well, which isn't ideal. I'm thinking maybe another depth signing or two. Nordstrom or a player like that.

I don't think they'll be trying to get a big name winger with their cap situation and since they need to allocate funds to the LD.
