<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Dekes</b></div><div>ya for the debrusk trade for one those dmen i understand they would want more i said he would be apart of a package for them. maybe not so much graves though as colorado won't want to lose him for free to seattle. I see now though the compher coyle comparison which makes sense, coyle was hurt all season though which could be a reason to his lack of production. as for the contracts yes hall may get more then 6 i hope he would come cheap which it seems like he might but krech and rask will be cheap rask is missing half the season and krech is just a rental for one more yr of competing before they have to start retooling. as for oleksiak and murray those contracts are still just awful rather invest in martinez for around 5-6 and merril for 1.5. murray was not that good ive seen multiple NJ fans say they are glad hes gone. as for oleksiak hes good and has size but for 4.5 mil thats ridiculous for what he would actually bring to your team, hes a hitter and a shot blocker but hes not the type of guy you match up against a teams best players not unless hes paired up with mcavoy. another thing can't see bruins signing many free agents to long term contracts no more then 2 yrs for guys like oleksiak and murray they would be purely rentals to allow the younger d core develop a little more</div></div>

Oleksiak just got 4.6M for 5 years. Would have loved to see him paired with McAvoy. Leaves Martinez, Murray and Suter. None will be cheap. When you don't draft and develop you have to pay the price. Will be interesting to see it all play out.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Dekes</b></div><div>for me its nots that studnicka isnt good enough its that he doesnt fit the timeline. bruins need a 4th line center but we need a physical 4th line center a 6'1" 175 lb kid won't fill that need. bruins are in a win now mode and need the best players they can get, stud has value but he holds more value to a rebuilding team that has the time to develop him better and unfortunately the one thing bruins don't have is time. we have about 2 really competitive years left before we need to retool or rebuild but by that time stud's skill and value would be wasted. if stud was the key piece to us aquiring a top 4 defenceman or top 6 winger that can help us win the cup next season, yes as much as i like the guy and want him long term in a bruins jersey i know that sacrifices need to be made to win the cup and he could be one of them if the price is right</div></div>

You have explained yourself well and I see your perspective. What it boils down to for me is that the last two times we traded 1sts and and young prospects in the Nash and Kase deals we really took it on the chin. With the cap room the Bruins have I just feel that free agency is the way to go in acquiring top 4 D and/or top 6 W. There are enough available and the Bruins should be in on many. Of course if DS butchers that like he did the Belesky and Backes signings well.....At least the Craig Smith signing gives me some hope that he can get it right. Keep the picks and the young prospects because the retool/rebuild you bring up might only be one year away. Studnicka will only be 23 at that point so it would not be a waste of his skill and value. At least tell me we can do better than Kuraly as our "physical 4th line center". Either way the next 3 weeks will be interesting!
