Montreal Canadiens signed Michael Pezzetta (2 Years / $812,500 AAV)
As a Bruins fans who live in MTL, I like this guy fan favorite, not a 4th liner in a winning team, but a 4th liner on a rebuilding team that are aware that they need to still make their hockey fun to watch a 100%

I can’t see forbot not out, foligno replacement isn’t a sure better player (Frederic, lauko, greer) and ully will probably stay just because swayman hasn’t played

No prob but yeah otherwise I’d agree, on the d I wonder if clifton will play more than Grz, they are both decent but Grz in playoff isn’t that good because he tend to lack the ability to take the hit and make the play

Nick Paul won’t be mooved, imo overpay for orlov and bertuzzi, bertuzzi is good but too injury prone to deserve a 6 years contract, maybe some team will give him but it’s most likely that this team will regret it, and orlov will be 32 next season so I can’t see a team signing him for 6 years, imo max deal the bruins should give orlov is 5x5m

Bruins keeping a star like him help with FA and players retention, to me 11,25m for 8 years won’t age bad, is a good contract not a still but a bit better than fair value

Yeah I think that would be the only piece, but i don’t want the bruins to pay more than a 4th to acquire this type of players, we have decent C option bergy, krecji, Coyle, zacha, Frédéric, nosek and foligno, but I agree with you an other depth c would make this team 100% stacked every where

Switch Carlo and stralman, maybe even stralman out with zboril.
Offense : no lysell, zacha with krecji and pasta, hall on the 1st,
Debrusk Coyle and smith on the 3rd and 4th line can be a mix of a lot of guys (between greer, nosek, Frederic, mclaulghin, lauko and maybe foligno (.001% chance) and stud (ain’t a 4th line)

Frédéric isn’t bad but doesn’t bring the grit that most people were expecting, greer is a good player and deserve to get a decent shot

NHL 23 Custom Roster Doc
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BruinsFan35</b></div><div>For the second year in a row, I've made a full roster editing doc for the upcoming NHL game. As noted on the doc, the drafts are a work-in-progress, so please be patient as I continue to look into these prospects to make accurate ratings for them.
Also, unlike last year, I will be unable to make the roster edit myself in-game. I probably won't be buying the game until Christmas, if at all, so there's no point in waiting half of the game-cycle to get this custom roster in-game. I only made this doc because it was requested of me to do so. If you happen to make the roster on your own, let me know. It'd be cool to see
here's the link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zKKq5AdNhL10CsJWDVLw9NrY28mv4AgmZWELmDNN_O0/edit?usp=sharing</div></div>

Best scenario for the franchise
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gofnut999</b></div><div>Be better off just folding the franchise than do this. :shakehead
First - nobody has won or lost the cup by Xmas. Calm down. Blues were in last in Jan the year they won the cup.
2nd - reality check on trading Bergy and DK, they did not cone back for that. No matter how much you try to judtify.
3rd - imagine doing all that and not extending or trading Pasta and watch him walk via FA.</div></div>
I know that they didn’t sign to get traded but things change and maybe they realize that they rather chase than stay, I never said that this is the most realistic situation, but this would help the bruins to rebuild/retool around Mcavoy and pasta, marchy, lindholm Carlo, with the picks they can do a major moove off season moove and get a top line center with an extension

Best scenario for the franchise
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gofnut999</b></div><div>Be better off just folding the franchise than do this. :shakehead</div></div>
I know it’s crazy but next year we have no bergy, no krecji, and we won’t get value out, the only Center is beecher and he’s far to be an impactful top6 player, so we will need to go to FA and there is not a lot of center that will be available (Eller, horvat (.001% chance, Toews, barbashev, staal and oreilly)
They aren’t bad but ain’t helping us (barbashev could a decent target but it could turn terrible if we overpay)
So this major mess helps the team in the future to regarnish their prospect pool (worst in the league)
There is a way to make this less bad, it’s if it comes from the players that they rather get traded.

Trades for building a really good team
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Tintin</b></div><div>Looks like someone hasn’t watched the Devils very much over the last season.
Cus if you did you’d know that Siegenthaler is close to untouchable.
You’d be looking at dealing Bouchard for starters, but know that the Devils got both Nemec and Marino in, i really don’t think there’s anything on the Oilers roster that’d be intriguing enough to deal Siegenthaler (McDavid and Drai exempted of course).</div></div>
Siegenthaler is good, but I feel New Jersey won’t want to pay him, and even if he played well last season, New Jersey have a lot of young lhd coming bhall and hughes that could play and siegenthaler feel the off man out, maybe the value isn’t it but still

Best of the most realistic scenario
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>glarson17</b></div><div>Guys like Bergeron and Krejci aren’t going to sign with Boston just to be traded. I would imagine they get no moves.
Carolina, Vancouver and the islanders don’t consider those trades to be quite close in my opinion</div></div>

I agree with the facts that the bruins are not signing the guys to trade them at the TDL (at this moment) so my perfect scenario, would be that those guys agree to go and get a chance to compete for a cup before retiring (because we are not likely to make the playoff at the TDL)
