Guys, They are coming sooner then later! Its a young team and its normal they are missing consistency. adding experience players that can help is what s needed for them to turn things around. They are ready for it!

Giroux is really good second option, Kane still can be dominant player on a top six for years to come, sign and trade deal with the Sens is not option...
D core Sanderson is NHL Ready! D core is strong moving puck assets which makes this team so existing to watch. I agree that it s not a full strong Defensives core.
Forsberg Given the NHL cap space just can see a team given more to him. Nonetheless Sen could Bonify the offer.

Allen worth a 2nd or 3rd. Wideman a 6th.
Chiarot a pair of 2nds would be a great return. A 1st seems lofty, adding significant pieces to a 1st is dreaming.
Not the kind of return Boston is looking for to trade him to rival.</div></div>

Barrie is not part of the moving up with Edmonton and he is a cap hit compensation in the Allen trade.
Chariot is wort first and future consideration.

Trading with the Predators Stanley on is way
Duchene was doing well in Ottawa and Columbus.
Duchene and Drouin need a change of air,,, We can keep Lehkonen for sure if you think it's over pay!
Duchene playing on the same line with Gallagher, He will step up again.
I see this first line as the match up line against the first of the other teams, permitting Suzuki and KK to be come the one two punch lines eventually.
Down the road in 2 years from know, Suzuki, KK, Poehling, Evans will be the Habs center lines and Duchene would be LW on the top 6.
MTL depth in there upcoming Roster is fantastic, no cap issues in the forecast.

in the short term Jets are saving in $$ cap space.
PLD move from First center Blue Jackets to Third center with Jets last season.,,, KK had a better season 2020-2021 by fare then PLD, in my opinion the trade difference is PLD as more years experience in the league at this time then KK. in 2 years from know that gape will be closed. They will compete at the same level of play, given they have their own different assets, KK will be a complete Center men by then,

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>willinlisbon</b></div><div>This would be a backwards move for the Habs.
Don't get me wrong - I like the proposals, but its not the right time. Maybe 2 years ago or even last season.
At this point the habs need to move forward - not acquiring picks/prospects - they need an NHL caliber sniper / goal scorer (or two) NOW.....to get them over the hump.
MB has done a great job so far with Allen and Edmundson.
We can't "wait" for picks or prospects to pan out.....because they might not.
Scoring Wingers is the #1 priority right now.
GO FOR LAINE!!!!!!!
Forget HALL</div></div>
Hall for Tatar in my opinion Hall can achieve 30 goals plus. Radcliffe and Suzuki did lot's of damage together in Jr, I'm confident that they are able to produce together in the NHL. When you look at this roster it's improved and in the moving towards the right direction. The additional picks would complete the rebuilt process and moving forward for a championship for many years to come.

Y1 re-signing of, Laine, Gallagher, Danault, Armia, Lehkonen, KK and a backup (presumably call up Primeau, but that's still money off the cap)
Y2 re-signing of Chiarot, Mete, Juulsen, Romanov, Pool-party, Jost, Suzuki and Evans.
and they likely aren't good enough to win a cup in those 2 years.
All these Montreal giant trades and signings don't seem to consider the future, they're video game trades.</div></div>
The up coming prospects will take place. Next year cap space will have 25 million available and in y2 and additional 12 million. Also the Habs will have trading assets.(Danault, Armia Chiarot, Mete, Gallagher Lehkonen, Allen) Cap space replacing these players will be 7 million and leaving 31 million to sign Laine, KK, Suzuki… so no cap issues keep yourself busy on your video game.
Prospects RW Caufield, Mercer, Ylonen, D Sanderson, Norlinder, Romanov, Harris, Struble,…C Poehling, Hillis, Olofsson…

In the current context this is really good offers and specially when Habs are one of the teams that can offer most of there salaries in Bonus making it front loaded. It is not just about numbers you have to consider the payment package.
