This one is not bad - I believe the Habs do take Quinn over Sanderson and Lundell for his upside. Rangers probably pick Lapierre at 21 vs 17. I rate Perreault ahead of Foerster based on his bloodlines/character grooming. Kaiden Guhle probably goes before Justin Barron. Brisson to me is probably a marginal first rounder

2020 Draft
I like it. It’s great for Ottawa. I’d like to see them grab Byfield and Raymond. That’s dynamite when you add in Tkachuk. Dominant !! I think they’ll grab a D with their third pick, in this mock scenario.
I think Jake Sanderson fits the bill for the Wild. Born to be Wild!! He can mentor behind Suter and Brodin. They can really take their time with his development.
At #25, I think they should grab a stud winger like Foerster. Straight up RW goal scorer. I also like Hendrix Lapierre if he’s there.

I'd be happy with those picks for the Wild.
Solid mock overall. Habs need a scorer so maybe they take Quinn over Rossi but Rossi is way better IMO

Picking 3rd
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BuFfaLOFaN</b></div><div>Are both Byfield and Stutzle NHL ready?</div></div>
Stutzle played against mens where Byfield only in the OHL which makes Stutzle more NHL ready but the best would be to wait some time with Stutz or at least start him on a third line or maybe as a winger so he can be mentored by someone inside the team for some time.
All in all I'd keep him in Germany one year.

Quite possibly the worst counterargument I have ever read. You're grasping at straws using that logic. Immediate cap space and a pick is already a favorable return for a team that is cap crunched and already has their backup goalie, chief. If you are going to quote my reply again take some time to type out a logical and intelligent comment.

First of all, Matthews IS NO miles better; this sounds a lot like Toews and Kane doesn't it?

Nailed it. And that’s why the Leafs are in for another 1st round exit.

Hahahaha the 4th line making less than a single Matthews paycheck! Nothing wrong with that just thought it was funny. I genuinely think they will try to get rid of Marleau to make things work. They have Zaitsev who I am sure they will also try to trade away, if they can. All in All, their situation isn't THAT tricky, but it will definitely be filled with some <$1m players, like you have on here.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Buds92</b></div><div>I agree, they both have a ton of potential, both RHD that the leafs are so desperate for. I think Fabbro plays a bit more of a physical game thats why i think he would be a better fit in Toronto, as he could eventually play more of a shutdown role and probably play on the top pairing.</div></div>
If that happens I would love Liljegren playing with Ekholm, fellow swede! That would fit nicely :) and Fabbro with Rielly is perfect two-way pairing

I hate trading Liljegren but Im fine with this since the only difference between those two is their nationality. I look at their plays and how they look for me and they are roughly same players. Im fine with this..
