Horvat is more valuable imo- he’s a Center. And he’s the kind of 2way Center we don’t have (&amp; need imo)

But what I’d do personally, is go after BOTH
Play them together on the 2nd line, &amp; bump the Cozens line with Quinn &amp; Peterka down to line3

It would be (kinda) tough to do that with the Cap
But i don’t think we’d have to worry about that for a few more years, and by that time the Cap will have gone up a bit to help us out- &amp; we’ll have gotten rid of some Cap in guys like Okposo &amp; Skinner, etc
Eventually, the Cap will be something we have to finesse even if we didn’t bring in 1 (or both) of Horvat/Konecny anyways
It would just take a little longer

I think both guys could be excellent pieces to get though
And both would really help this team take a step forward to the next level as well (imo)


A cheaper option, who i also like &amp; can fill one of their roles, would be Max Domi- he’s a UFA after this season as well
And he’s a pretty good 2way guy who plays feisty &amp; can win faceoffs- plus play Center or the wing</div></div>

So I think IF Eichel was moved you may get 2 or 3 1st round picks (not on the form of players just picks) + 1 or 2 B or C prospects until He is fully recovered and returns to game action. Once he returns to game action and proves the surgery was at least somewhat successful, then you can ask for those primium pieces. For Shabbal18 to claim there is "NO RISK" and that "its being blown out if proportion on this site" is ludicrous! It's major back surgery of course there are huge risks!
