Stastny and Leddy
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>A_Habs_fan</b></div><div>Nick Leddy’s probably worth a second and the stastny deal apparently involves picks going both ways</div></div>
At this pace isles would be happy to get rid of leddy for a 3rd and get some cap space, even if Leddy is still nice with it

Sell at TDL
I am not a fan of having a 36 year old with long term still left at a high cap hit even with retention. Especially to lose a first. Gotta have more ELC on the isles, less 30 year olds making 5M

What does a Leddy buyout look like
The staal trade set the bar that the isles have to send a first and then an eh prospect.

I had no idea how much money we would save by buying out Leddy, wuld be nice to trade him but once Olli Maatta was delt to LA and WPG signed their guy for a 3M per I was not super confident anymore

Pulock I think gets 5x7 or 6x5. Barzy will prob take a half mil more per. I'm not sure how resigning beau will go with Hoffman. If we can send Leddy to WPG and get rid of Boychuk and Ladd contracts then I'm not against it

If you're looking at Gaudreau it starts with 1st+Dobson+</div></div>
What team do you think pays something like that? Obviously one with a large prospect pool but are there any individual teams being tossed around?

Pulock's money and term are inversely proportional. more term less money per. 5x7 or 6x5 is what I see

I'll never understand this. Someone says someone declines then the other person has to go off for no reason. We appreciate the good luck guy. Keep it movin

Add more assets to Kings.</div></div>
If boychuk is traded after the signing bonus its only 5.25mil over 2 years. I think a first covers boychuk in that case then add maybe a 4th or 3rd for Komarov

If Ladd is on the LTIR
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lenny7</b></div><div>Kesler's contract is insured to like 90%. Boychuk is still owed $5.25 mil. $1.35 mil vs. $5.25 mil isn't in the same ballpark.
As for the prospect/pick, Anaheim has a ton of young guys, and are pretty deep at C with them (Steel, Terry-unless he plays wing, Lundestrom, Zegras, Olivier-Groulx, heck, even Comtois has been playing at C). Lots of young guys will be looking for icetime over the next couple of years. Not sure where Koivula would even fit.
If this is the best return they can get for taking the Boychuk dump, why waste the cap space? The teams biggest issue was on D. Why not just go out and sign a DeMelo or Brodie-type guy (There's plenty available). They've got their franchise goalie, and plenty of young assets up front that will hopefully take the next step next year. The Ducks are in a good spot to either upgrade, or take a good return if they're eating a contract. This ain't it.</div></div>
How do you find the insurance percentages on contracts? Is that on here or another website
