I'm a Leafs fan and I left him off :tearsofjoy I could he see him playing with 97, but I think Nate has that right wing No. 1 spot locked and Connor gets a guy who can skate with him on the LW. It's hard but I can't see them breaking up 37 and 87.

loading up for a Matthews trade
In four years, Vegas's window will be almost, the Rangers will be flush with big contracts and won't be able to take on his free agency, and the Kings are starting to move to the Cap limit this year. Who knows how much their prospects will pan out, but if they do, they'll be paying them big money. He would be great for the Latino community marketingwise. With that being said, I think the Leafs get a Cup (yes, I know there's no evidence to support it) in the next three years.
Arizona should be coming out of the rebuild and be a up and coming team. Plus, it's home for him. That's a big, big draw.

Side deal rumored wow
“Morris, you make me sick.”
So here’s some questions....
1. Why didn’t he take Jake Bean? That’s right up his alley. He loves his defense.
2. Why didn’t he wait to sign Driedger during the UFA period and pick Vatrano today?
3. They’re surely has to be some sort of side deals made with picks and players being exchanged tomorrow at 1 p.m. Right?
4. If this team is built from the back end, why take two largely unproven goalies with one year worth of experience? The defense isn’t the ‘77 Canadiens.
5. What’s his obsession with Pittsburgh third liners?
6. Kurtis McDermid? Really? You have one Incredible Hulk in Oleksiak. Of all the players LA offered?
7. When is Montreal going to be investigated for the Weber-Price medical mysteries? I’m not saying they’re not hurt, but the timing is dubious at best.

It might not happen this summer, but it will happen. Rangers think they’re going to get Eichel.

They have to make some deal. It’s not the Ladd situation. This is after the draft. They picked Gourde and JB and RF agreed beforehand this is how it was gonna go down.

You know he’s moping because Seattle didn’t get Tarasenko and the flip him to Broad Street for Voracek (who just had the divorce speech with Chuck), Hagg as the expansion selection and a second. Now, he can get Pitlick for the third line and has some cash to go after the big deal.

You have to make moves to contend
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mintyfresh</b></div><div>I don't think they are a circus show at all. I think a lot of fans got overwhelmed with the bigger names available, but its not feasible for them to pick a lot of those guys. I feel like they picked some of the better young talent available. The problem is I don't think there were really draft compensation deals this year like the Vegas year. I saw something where teams found out about draft rules only a year before Vegas expansion so they were in a panic as they didn't want to lose their core pieces. Rules for Seattles were released 3 years ago plus Vegas success due to the fact they completely fleeced other teams in their expansion was a big deal also. No team was going to let that happen again so I just don't think those type of deals were available.
The only move I wish they did just because I wanted to see the hockey world burn was Carey Price. Other wise I honestly think there really wasn't a much better team available to them than this. As I said I do like some of their young players. You gotta think where we were at with Vegas, if Karlsson, Theodore, and Tuch didn't break out, their team was uncertain at first as well. I just think everyone is jumping on this too early. Gotta see how it plays out.</div></div>

There’s no way Tampa keeps TJ around, especially with $5 AAV for the third line. They just lost Gourde who was way more valuable and TJ is the pride of Spokane. They passed on Price and it would be a great PR move. I have a feeling Briesbois wasn’t going to use his only first to protect Gourde and will work out some deal to send TJ to Seattle. Then that cap space might get Danault or someone you wouldn’t expect. It’s Tampa. This is what they do.

I don't know what Francis or Armstong were thinking. There has to be more trades coming by Friday, right? Side deals that were not announced?
I know one thing. St. Louis is going to really go after Landeskog and miss. 2019 is over and so is their Cup window.
