No, Rakell is going to play with Silf, centered by steel or Lundestrom, Kase hopefully ends up on a line with Getz and Terry/Comtois, but Getz's wingers will be 2 of those three I don't think GMBM likes sprong, but that's my ideal bottom 6 probably (except swap Sprong and Terry, Sprong can at least somewhat play LW) then the 4th line who gives a ****, we have so many depth forwards, also I love how you put Fowler over a top 10 LD in the league (Lindholm) then you put him on his off-side lol, Fowler is the one that plays LD, not Lindholm, and Lindholm has fantastic chemistry with Manson, and they've been playing Guhle with Fowler, ahead of Larsson

Poehling will be 4C at first, definitely not 2C. If Domi gets moved off to the wing, it will be because KK moves into his spot. I would imagine the lines would be the following if everyone is healthy for the start of this season:

Byron - KK - Lehkonen
Weal - Poehling - Armia

Disagree, KK & Poehling can play 2 and 3 C. If we have the depth move Domi. Poehling on the 4th line is a waste.

Domi - Kotkaniemi - Suzuki - Nice youth line, Suzuki will give them a boost
Drouin - Poehling - Byron - Poehlin with talented wingers
Lekhonen - Thompson - Weal - 4th line C that can win draws with fast wingers.

Armia & Cousins Extras, - Only issue with this lineup is Armia arguably deserves a roster spot.

Roster looks sick, wonder if there's a way you can keep Sissons on the team though. Also don't think Duchene signs for that in FA, he probably gets 8.5M. Maybe try getting Minnesotta to retain 1M from Spurg

This is a terrible comment. John Gibson is the sole reason Anaheim was not on Senators bad level this year.

Not a bad thought. I don't think Isles would have too much trouble resigning Hall. Couple additional things though: Lee isn't a center, they need a 3C. Beau could do it if he spent the entire offseason just heavy weight lifting, but I think the best way for them to get a C is to trade Leddy for one. Ladd is going to go on LTIR.

I think there is a very slim chance Wahlstrom makes the team out of camp. And lastly, Staple has mentioned numerous times Sorokin is trying to come over for next season, so they'll have to trade Greiss if he does.

I also like Pitlick. But his value is still around a 3rd round pick, tops. He isn't productive enough offensively to be worth more. He's a solid 3rd-4th liner with good defensive play, speed and even skill.

Pretty sure none of these trades would go through - either the other teams decline or it's simply not worth for Dallas to do them...

WSH trade - don't see them trading Burakovsky for nothing but a middle-6 roster player. They still consider themselves as a contender, so it's not in their interest to weaken their team further.

OTT trade - I like Dzingel, but I hate Ceci. He's nuisance in the defensive end. Would rather keep Dickinson and Robertson, and trade Janmark+1st for Dzingel and 3rd.

TB trade - Can't see TB breaking that Johnson-Point-Kucherov line at this point, it has probably been the best line in the entire league alongside Landeskog-MacKinnon-Rantanen and Gaudreau-Monahan-Lindholm lines. TB is the top contender in this league, I don't see them doing anything that would weaken their chances for the cup before the draft - and even still that trade wouldn't be enough. As a DAL fan, I'd love to get Johnson, but I don't see anyone taking Johns at this point, considering that he hasn't played a single game this season due to post-concussion symptoms.

DET trade - They are not moving Athanasiou. Fedun's AHL d-man, Ritchie is a 4th liner, and no one can say anything about Bäck yet, but he certainly has not value enough for DET to even consider moving AA.

EDM, TOR and ANA trades - Pitlick and Polak have been pretty decent this season. Why should Dallas move them for scraps? As for Comeau, I don't see anyone paying anything for him - I'd be surprised if anyone would take him from waivers, if he hypothetically gets waived.

That roster you've built would look nice, but the trades itself don't work in my opinion.

They did look outstanding together to be honest but they never produced. But the guy really needs someone who can find him. I’m excited at the prospect at what he can do with Larkin. But I don’t know that it’s a “perfect” fit. I guess we will see! I’m concerned with the wings practice of over patience we may not even see much of zadina or veleno next season. I hope it’s not the case

If you buy a guy out you can't resign them. If you trade them and the team you trade them to buys them out you can sign them like what the Caps did with Orpik.
I agree about Myers, he's under appreciated in Winnipeg and will be missed but that's just the way it is with a salary cap, need a young cheaper guy like Poolman to step in and take his spot.

Yes and no. Don't sign Bob. He's only good with elite defense behind him. Kampf is as good as Lindholm and Forsling is about as good as Coburn defensively, so I'd not sign them. Lehner/DeSmith is a better option and far cheaper. I'd also develop Boqvist for another year in the AHL and keep Murphy. You're still solid at that point. Then you'll have 8.5 million in cap space. Maybe you'll win the lottery and have Hughes as your 2C. Sign Dzingel/Nelson and you'll be a contender. I know it's a bit complicated, but those are my thoughts.

There is definitely something to build off of here. The contracts do bring cost certainty as well. I like it, I am just not 100% on what the right value is.
