You're taking the hypocrite route, wonderful.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Viqsi</b></div><div>It's how "it works" in the sense that Marchenko would require a premium overpayment because there's no interest in moving him. The Jackets requiring a premium for Marchenko doesn't impact Rossi's value
Let me try what you did
Oh there are rumors that Jiricek is unhappy in Columbus, how about a 2024 2nd and maybe Ryan O'Rourke for him?
Oh there are rumors that Saros may be traded out of Nashville, how about a 2025 2nd and a 2024 3rd for him?
At this point if I were you I would simply not respond unless it's to walk back what you've said. I wouldn't try doubling down, it would just make you look like a hypocrite.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Viqsi</b></div><div>Rossi also has rumors circling that he may be on the way out or otherwise seen as not a core part of the Wild's future (for whatever crazy reason). Marchenko not only has no such indicators, he's one of the guys we're committed to building around. Thus the discrepancy.</div></div>
That's not how that works but sure, not really the point here

Rossi and top 9 adds
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Tjm220</b></div><div>You can’t be serious about that. This is the first full season since his draft year that Marco Rossi has even played. And in a decidedly down year for Dylan Cozens, he is still scoring more points than Marco Rossi right now. Add to the fact that he is locked up long-term, and as the cap goes up the amount of money players like Rossi can demand will exceed what Cozens is being paid.</div></div>
So Rossi is way worse than Cozens but you don't want him because he's going to get paid more?

Offseason Series - WILD
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CoolHandL</b></div><div>And some team very well could, seeing as how most are looking for centers who produce. I think the chances of trading him are definitely low, but if Guerin sells high on him and the haul includes a cornerstone D who can be the heir apparent to Spurgeon in a couple years? Part of my thinking also is that the top nine of this team will be dangerously small going into next season between Rossi, Khusnutdinov, Kaprizov, Johansson, and Zuccarello.
Maybe it's a trade that happens summer of 25' instead, when Rossi, Faber, Khusnutdinov, and Wallstedt all have to be given contracts. We'll see!</div></div>
Why does there have to be a trade at all? Why can't the Wild just keep him?

For littlejerryseinfeld
As I said in your other thread, doesn't matter if they can technically afford it, the deal is DOA for a 34 year old Anders Lee making 7M for two more years. That's purely a waste of money. The team is better off keeping Gaudreau and using the 4.9M difference to add someone else.

Would MIN have any interest in this summer trade
No they would not be interested in this, too much for a 34 year old winger on pace for 35 points
Total cumulative cap hit for Gaudreau is 8.4M, for Lee it's 14M. Even if Gaudreau becomes a hindrance later, his contract is easy to bury in the minors, buy out, or maybe even move for relatively nothing

Who says no
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SlickWilly</b></div><div>Right, I'll agree with that. I've got all the time in the world for anyone who wants to argue Faber for the Calder without using "+ / -". Love him. Sensational defenseman. Absolute stud. Future norris winner. But Bedard came into the league kind of as a one dimensional king who had this insane shot, but the rest of his game was unproven. His playmaking has been miles ahead of where we thought it would be, especially with this supporting cast, and, while not the greatest situationally on defense, he is creating opportunities in the neutral zone and offensive zone with his stick checking, something i never thought I would see from him this year. So while both are playing beyond expectations, what Bedard at 18 offers is something that very few other individual pieces alone in the NHL can offer.</div></div>
"Not the greatest" is really sugarcoating it. He's terrible defensively. Doesn't change anything about what he's done offensively, or his potential, but let's be for real here.

Your only intelligent post in this thread was condemning Matheson as "terrible defensively" in order to win a dick measuring contest with a Leafs fan. Maybe take a step back.

This is what tells me that you have no interest in any legitimate discussion, you're just a massive Canadiens homer.
Anyway, Minnesota has no interest in this trade. Moving on.
