Columbus get Schmaltz on a deal
Toronto loses out big time, even though they are clearing out cap space. I think Nylander alone is worth Jenner, Peeke and Texier, especially after all 3 are basically coming off career years and Peeke and Texier are still developing players. No need to add Sandin, Holmberg and Loponen, Nylander is worth a lot on his own. The Columbus-Arizona trade is fine as Schmaltz is retained at 50% and just came off a nearly PPG season and is locked up until 25/26 (A PPG on a 3M contract is a GM's dream), so:
Nylander = Schmaltz (as there is salary retention)
Boyd + 3rd > Korpisalo + Holmberg

McZub
This trade works if Ottawa manages to get rid of Zaitsev's contract (by trading it to a team like Arizona who are still under the cap floor). Barrie has better PPG production than Zub but is older, and Puljujarvi still has potential to be a Top 6 winger.

Serious Offer
Unless Winnipeg REALLY want to get rid of Dubois because of his lack of attitude and willingness to stay with a team long term, maybe this trade works, but the Habs need to add retention on Anderson and/or Dvorak to make the salary work. Dubois would probably play 2C in Montreal behind Suzuki, might not what he would want exactly in order to be willing to stay in Montreal long-term.

No way that the Ducks and Sabres just flip Lyubushkin and Strome right after signing them. Valueside, the Ducks decline, a bit too little for Strome, and the trade doesn't work for both teams.

JT Miller for Severson Myers Cap Dump
At this point, I don't think Myers has negative salary value, don't think the Nucks have to give up a 3rd and DiPietro to get rid of Myers and his contract. Nucks also get a good haul for Miller, and by getting rid of Myers' contract, the Nucks have space to resign Severson.

Miller the dick for picks prospects
Canucks definetly ask for more from Calgary, they shouldn't be paying Calgary for them to take on Dickinson's contract as they are taking Lucic's contract (Lucic is from Vancouver). Makes sense for Vancouver as a cap in cap out deal (Lucic 1x5.2M, Dickinson 2x2.6M). So, the Canucks get Valimaki, Poirier, a 1st and 2 2nds for one year of Miller (The Flames would probably prioritize resigning Huberdeau/Weegar instead of Miller. Assuming Miller resigns in Calgary and is a good player there, this deal is fine, but not sure Calgary would be willing to give up so many assets for Miller. If Calgary knows they can't resign Miller, I don't see this deal working at all.

Open Run to the Cup
Ottawa declines, trade doesn't work for both teams. Montreal still need veteran defensemen to help their prospects after losing Weber and Chiarot. No way Savard and Edmunson are worth a 1st, a 4th and a prospect. 2nd rounder at most, which is basically what Ottawa is giving Montreal to dump Zaitsev's contract.

Kane Toews and Bedard for a bunch of players
Not sure if Chicago wants to give up their first as they need a ton of prospects to help with their rebuild. Vegas does offer a good package (assuming the Chicago pick is around #5), but I doubt that Marchessault, Stephenson and Martinez want to play in Chicago.

When we tank
Tank for what? Tank for nothing. Oilers have 3 goalies, a starter in Campbell and two backups in Skinner and Pickard. They don't need Jake Allen, and they can't afford his cap hit either. Edmonton declines as well, Puljujarvi is worth a lot more than Allen, considering they basically have the same cap hit.

The most win-win trade ever
Not a win-win for either team. Fox has mentioned that he only wants to play for NY, obviously why he refused to sign or play for both Carolina and Calgary. Lafreniére seems to be an inconsistent winger who has 2nd line potential at most currently. However, this could change if he were to play on a line with McDavid is this trade was to happen. NY don't need Draisaitl either, he doesn't play wing. He would push Trocheck to 3C and Zibanejad to 2C, which is what both players would certainly not want. Oilers don't have enough cap space to bring in Fox, anyway.

Yep, Suter wants to win a cup as he missed out on the opportunity in both Minnesota and Dallas. He definetly wouldn't waive for a rebuilding team. Valuewise, it's fine but I think Chicago would rather have prospects instead of roster players.

Kirby dach to Dallas
Horrible trade, one of the worst I've seen. Montreal can't afford to take in Seguin, they are up against the cap. Seguin is also a regressing player in terms of point production, as this trade progresses, Dach would be a much more valuable player than Seguin. Montreal is starting a rebuild, while Dallas is becoming a playoff team, finishing their retooling process. No way Montreal would be willing to give up their 1st round pick in 2023, it could be Bedard, who knows. Seguin would likely not make the Habs better either, he would probably play at the 2C position behind Suzuki. A joke of a trade

Bad for both sides, Minnesota doesn’t want to take in Toews as he is aging in his production and still being paid 5.2M after salary retention, and they are getting rid of their dominant 3rd line, which makes no sense.

Again, Kane probably wouldn’t waive his NMC to go to Calgary, and Calgary are giving a bit too little to Chicago for Kane. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd will likely be late round picks, and Valimaki is a B-hrade prospect whilst Lucic is a cap dump.

Chicago easily declines, I don’t think both of Kane and Toews would waive their NMC for Calgary anyway. Lucic and Monahan are both cap dumps, so Pelletier and Valimaki (two B-grade) prospects and a 1st is worth Kane and Toews with both retained at 50%? Crazy trade, in a bad way

Min-Wpg
In terms of value, Winnipeg declines easily. In terms of salary, Minnesota declines easily, this trade makes ZERO sense. Minnesota are essentially taking on longer contracts (Scheifele 23/24, Schmidt 24/25) and getting rid of contracts with 1 year left. And Minnesota is only saving 1-2M doing this. Not worth it. Also, why would Minnesota want to get rid of Eriksson Ek, a part of their dominant 3rd line. You’ve got to remember that Minnesota is in cap hell.
